More about the hotel
worst of the worst! scammers!
do not go to this hotel! rip off! humid and dirty room with artificial perfume dispenser to cover the smell, no other room available and the hotel seemed to be empty to me. they promised to do the refund for this 1 night €320 without breakfast!!! and they never did, not after my 20 mails and phonecalls. So so bad and Agoda/Booking.com still keep selling this place; At 11pm we had to look for another hotel with a 7 year old kid. no one deserves this, never! 😔
PERFECT FOR A SHORT OCTOBER HOLIDAY
We booked our stay from 6th to 10th of October last March, getting a super deal seeing how early we booked it. We got to the Hotel early on the 6th and they were super nice and gave us the room even though it was way earlier than check in time and when I told them that we were with other friends who were not there yet they upgraded us to a room closer to theirs. The room was in fact a little apartment, nicely furnished with a nice terrace overlooking the woods and the San Antonio Bay ( the latter at a distance, though). Breakfast was ok, the food was always fresh and the price ok if you are a morning eater, if you only crave a cup of coffee and a croissant is obviously expensive, but aren't all buffet expensive if you do not eat? The staff was super nice and helpful, some other friends who booked last minute (and paid a lot more than we did), and who needed to leave a day earlier were granted a discount. It was just the perfect place at the perfect price for a little Ibiza escapade.
Poor service
I’m writing this review because after dealing with their staff, I’ve given up hope trying to reschedule my booking or get a refund. I guess they were counting on that. I booked this hotel last year, and when I was unable to make it, I was informed that I couldn’t get a refund. However, a nice staff member, (Maurizio) assured me in writing that I could reschedule for 2019. Fast forward, and the current staff claim that Maurizio hasn’t worked there for “many years”. I sent them written evidence several times, and they claimed not to receive my emails. The only time they received my email is when I was on the phone with them (how convenient!) Anyway, they were always saying they’d “get back to me” and never did. I thought it might be a language barrier, so I had my Spanish speaking husband and friend contact them with no success. So I lost thousands of dollars thanks to these guys and booking dot com. If you choose to stay with them, keep in mind that their English is poor, and they don’t issue refunds for any reason. Also they either have a problem receiving emails, or aren’t being honest. I think as a gesture of good faith, they should have honoured Maurizio’s word, or at least offered a partial refund.
Nice views but past its best.
Down a bumpy track and up a steep hill from the main road near Port es Torrent this place has great views over San Antonio bay. Very quiet, suspiciously so for July, a bit like a ghost town in fact. Nice landscaping, but greeted by dead rat in car park, plenty of cute cats around and it is the countryside so not the end of the world. Nothing really within walking distance except the local supermarket and 1 restaurant. This could be a plus or minus depending on your viewpoint. Car essential (plenty of parking), friendly reception staff happy to call taxis. These can take anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour to arrive depending on how busy San Antonio radio cars are, allow plenty of time if you have a booking elsewhere! 20 minutes or so into San An, about 15€. Our suite had a great balcony view and a basic kitchenette complete with cute tiny ants. No mosquitoes to be seen in July. The air con worked well when it had been left on long enough. Tip, leave on all the time if you're not concerned with carbon footprint. Close blinds during day to keep sun heat out. Breakfast basic and overpriced by the looks of things, we had a kitchen so we made our own. Nespresso machine nice touch. Photos, website and Booking.com reviews VERY misleading (from a parallel universe perhaps?). Other reviews on Tripadvisor seem more reflective. This place is clearly trading on past glories and could do with some care and attention. Despite some nice decor touches (which look great in photos) the furniture is getting a bit shabby and more attention to basic functionality would have been better. Bathroom was tired, towel service patchy (random sizes, not changed daily), sink drained slowly. Plenty of hot water though. You get what you pay for as they say and Ibiza is not cheap. Unfortunately I think accommodation of a similar standard is available in better locations for similar amounts or more likely less! This place is clearly running on a shoestring, perhaps hindered by its location. Frankly you could stay at the Hard Rock for 100€ a night more per room, which while a different style of hotel, the quality difference is light years apart. Had a nice holiday exploring the SW of Ibiza and using it as a base to sleep, but would not stay there again.
Worst hotel in the world
Booked in march for one week in early may. On mid april asked to cancel for dramatic health problem (sudden brain cancer surgery). waited two months for the answer: no way to get an effective contact .After some fifty calls and emails, Customer Service of the web booking company succeded in talking to the management who said no refunding at all (cost of breakfast included).
