Best hotel experience
The staff are very helpful, kind and nice. They give us the best experience while staying in this hotel. Due to the pandemic most hotels does not give breakfast. Some have breakfast in paper bags but mostly are not good. This hotel though the breakfast was in a paper bag as well, but the food inside are better than most hotels we stayed. Thank you.
UNCLEAN
The room was gross. Sheets were not cleaned (multiple hairs found in bed), the bed was equivalent to a pull out sofa- could feel every spring on a cheap thin mattress. Toilet wouldn't flush without holding the handle down and then wouldn't stop running. Stains on the carpet (looked like uncleaned pet stains as it was a pet-friendly room). I was told they had no housekeeping but would move me to a new room due to sheets. 30 minutes later no call about a new room. I could not even stay here. Checked out 45 minutes after checking in. The front desk attendant was friendly until I politely asked for a refund to which she seemed appalled. I asked about filing a complaint and she was very rude and then gave me a piece of letterhead paper. I am sure that would have made it to management! NOT. During a Pandemic especially I would expect a room to be cleaned thoroughly. Dirty sheets to me mean unsanitized room. So disgusted with this place!!
Rooms not cleaned. Unclear communication
The staff were friendly, and helpful for the most part. We were there 3 nights and our room was not cleaned either night. When we checked out I asked if we were supposed to have Asked to have our room cleaned. We were not advised of any procedure to do this on checking in. I was told “it depends”. The staff at the desk said that if we weren’t out of the room by 10 am, they did not clean unless you asked. (We were out of the room well before that time each day). The second morning the cleaning staff was in the hallway and saw us leave but the room was still not cleaned. We had to request extra toilet paper and towels from the desk in the evening. The staff at the desk That evening asked if we had asked not to have the room cleaned and we told her no. As I was checking out and asking about this the fellow behind me turned out to be in the room next to us and he had been there the same nights. It turned out he had the same experience and was also not happy about the room not being cleaned. Housekeeping was also out in the hall and saw him leave too, but his room was not cleaned either. He also was not happy about this. The procedure for this needs to be clearly defined and guests advised of what the protocol is upon check in because a practice that relies on “it depends” is lazy on the part of the hotel and confusing and frustrating for the guests. There also were signs noting breakfast options had changed, but nothing indicating to ask staff for options, my husband assumed there was nothing available for breakfast. I did ask at the end of the first day and were told that they did have some options and that you needed to ask for them, but it would have been helpful to have a sign listing the options and directing guests to ask for items on the list. I suppose it is a way for the hotel to save money by not listing what was available, but disappointing on this end. Other places we have stayed have had a sign posted indicating the options and directing guests to the desk to ask prominently displayed. Also we had a ceiling light not working and let them know the first evening we checked in. Though she wrote it down it was not fixed.
Not bad/not great
First off, The employees were all very kind. Kyra made us feel right at home during check in and we loved that. The room was clean and had a mini fridge for our leftovers. The trip took a down turn when we realized in the morning our car had been broken into via a window. Unfortunately we now have to replace a couple pricey items but there are cameras on property and the manager was helpful.
Our home away from home...
We stay here often and have for many years. At times we have up to 6 or 7 rooms for up to 3 or 4 months at a time. (Construction crew) The rooms are clean and updated. The staff is so helpful with all our needs. They really have a great group of employees that care about the place. Thank you! You always make us feel so comfortable. We will always stay here when we are in the area!
