El hotel se encuentra en un enclave privilegiado. Justamente enfrente del lago Thunersee. La habitación muy bien equipada, con estilo de una cabaña.Los desayunos fueron uno de los mejores y variados que pudimos degustar en nuestra ruta por Suiza. Un ubicación excelente, como punto de patida para poder visitar la zona de interlaken. No os olvideis visitar el bonito pueblo de Thun, Berna, Interlaken, Brienz, Spiez. En vuestra ruta por interlaken recomiendo las cascadas Giessbachfalls, Garganta del rio Aare y el impresionante puente colgante Sigriswill. En este puente vereis una excelente panoramica del lago Thun. La subida a Stockhorn es otra excursión que hicimos y nos encantó. En otras publicaciones dare opinión de otros de los hoteles en los que nos alojamos en nuestra ruta por Suiza. Disfrutar de Suiza!!!

Me alojé con mi pareja en este hotel durante 5 noches, y no nos arrepentimos. El precio es aceptable, teniendo en cuenta lo caro que es Suiza en líneas generales. La acogida y el trato por parte del personal es amable. Nuestra habitación era acogedora, con baño privado, y bastante limpia (servicio de habitaciones a diario). La única pega que le podemos poner es que el wifi en ocasiones va algo lento, pero por lo demás muy contentos de nuestra elección. El hotel se encuentra a las afueras de un pequeño pueblo llamado Faulensee, separado del precioso lago Thun por una carretera que lleva hasta dicho pueblo. Interlaken está a unos 14 kilómetros, y aunque todos los pueblos están bien comunicados por tren, nosotros recomendamos alquilar un coche para moverte más cómodamente por la zona. Las carreteras están muy bien señalizadas. En definitiva, recomendamos este hotel para pasar unos días estupendos en esta región del Cantón de Berna.

Como todo en Suiza, perfecto, cada dia que paso extraño, ese pais, y este hotel forma parte de esos recuerdo, precio y calidad acordes..buena experiencia, hablan español, muy buen desayuno, servicio de taxi incluido a la estación de trenes..

Our booking was for 2 adults and 1 child which clearly stated on the booking confirmation. The owner being greedy charged us an extra 25francs per night for our toddler which was against the T&Cs of booking. He refused to speak with the hotel booking website and took advantage of us being tourists. Since it was a busy week in Interlaken and we were unable to find an alternative hotel we had to satisfy owner's greed by paying more. We never had to go through this experience and I will recommend that if you are travelling with a young family then do not go this place.

INCREDIBLE: Rudest hotel staff ever !!!

The staff at this hotel clearly don’t want you to stay there. So why should you ? With my wife we needed a room for four people and we found a room here on one of the booking sites. We saw several bad reviews about bad service and rude behaviour, but we decided we didn’t mind, as this was one of few hotels offering those rooms. Before booking I called to check if the restaurant was open for hotel guests (outside restaurants aren’t open during the pandemic). There was no reply, nobody picking the phone. My wife and I decided to go there anyway. At reception there was one guy, middle aged and blond, and he was extremely rude. He was clearly very bothered that someone walked through the door and he might have to work. I asked him if the hotel restaurant was open and he said guests can go to another restaurant — not clear. He was asked what I was booking and I said I was booking the quadruple room for a night. I thought maybe he wanted to give me a better price than the site. Instead he shouted angrily “that room is minimum two nights”. I said on the site it was ok to be booked for one night and he shouted “then book there, why are you bothering me” and something else in German. And he quickly got to his computer. My wife and I were shocked but we were too tired to look for another option. We checked again on the site and the room had disappeared — he had taken it off ! We were in disbelief. By the way, this is during the pandemic and it was 5 pm — though his lack of commercial sense isn’t the real issue here. While we drove away, we saw him from the window with a smile of anger and satisfaction. So whoever gave this hotel one star for the rude service is totally right !!
