We spent five days in Dubrovnik, in the city and wanted this to be a beach holiday. Decided to go for the apartment because of covid19, and wanted a self-catering facility. This unit is really well maintained, cleaned daily, towels changed, spacious enough for 4 people, good beds, enough closet space. For longer stays, it could benefit from a shoe rack in the hallway, though. However, we had a few issues which spoiled the experience. Balcony has great views, but is overexposed to sun from 8-14 and not at all private, since it overlooks the street. Literally underneath there is a restaurant serving al fresco, and a cafe whose aircon unit never stops humming, and whose staff is up and about before 6am. Self catering proved to be another issue - kitchen is really small and any cooking seemes to be actually discouraged (two pots and a pan too large for the hob, no mw safe dish), so very simple basic dishes only. No kettle. No dishwasher. One set of crockery, means doing dishes often. Garbage bin without a cover, disposal also an issue. No mosquito nets on windows.
A lot of people in the restaurants and especially in cafes. Very few guests believe they too should wear masks except in the shops. Restaurants' offer limited. We booked directly through Maistra, did not use sunbeds or beach towels from the hotel, not sure if it was included. Beach area is beautifully done, especially the benches. Open to public, tends to get very busy, would require more attention (occasional cleaning underneath the boards). The sea was warm and clean although swimming is rather limited because of boats and jet skis. A lot of small boats "parked" very close to the swimming area. Surprisingly there was an area of devastation right behind one of the villas (an old hotel, fallig apart) and another one, crumbling to pieces, right outside the Sheraton hotel beach. Overall, our stay was nice, however, I find the location close to the beach its only comparative advantage and that affects general value for money

Fantastic week on holiday at Villas Srebreno & luckily returned to UK before the quarantine. Quick 20 mins coach tsfr to Sheraton Hotel where we checked in & porter took us to our apartment.Wow it was lovely, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, separate toilet,lounge/kitchen with 2 elec rings, fridge & microwave. No toaster or kettle. Please note there are no hairdryers despite these being listed in Jet2 description of facilities. Our balcony overlooked the beautiful seaview and gardens of the hotel. Not very private as only thing separating us from next door were 3 large flower pots but this wasn't an issue as next door only occupied for a few days. There was a hand sanitizer dispenser just inside the apartment & we were very impressed with the standards of cleanliness in the hotel as a whole. The staff were all very friendly, smartly dressed and wore facemasks. Housekeeping were very good came in daily.
The hotel facilities were great, outdoor pool, indoor pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi. There was also a steam room but this was closed. Towels for both the pool and beach are provided and sunbeds/umbrellas free for hotel guests. We spent our time between the pool and beach which although pebbly underfoot it is sandy once you get into the sea which was lovely and calm and clear.
The resort of Srebreno is lovely just a few restaurants and bars. We enjoyed meals at Restaurant Supertar (pizza buy one get one free on Wed & Fri), Bistro Kogo on the main road and Konoba Lanterna in Mlini a short stroll away. We were disappointed with Ruzmarin Gastro Bar though. The ice cream parlour on the front has lots of choice and very reasonable 10kn for a large cone/tub. The walk into Mlini is lovely with pine trees and incredible views.
We hired a pedalo with a slide for 50kn for 30 mins and a step SUP 90kn for 60 mins.
It is worth a walk around the coast to Kupari to view the ruined hotels which was quite atmospheric on the afternoon we did it as there was a thunderstorm brewing.
Jet 2 rep on transfer bus recommended using the water taxi to go to Dubrovnik as the buses were busy. It cost 100kn per person return & dropped you off at the old harbour very close to the city walls which we enjoyed walking around cost was 200kn per adult 50kn for children under 18. It was very hot but great to have it so quiet so easy to stop and take photos.
Another day we did chance the bus into Dubrovnik. 16A goes from just outside the Sheraton & cost was 18kn per person each way. We returned on number 10 bus which we got from outside the cable car station this was a lot busier and you were dropped off on the main road about 5 mins from hotel. We went on the cable car 165kn return per person temperature check on arrival, hand sanitizer available and restricted to 12 per car. Amazing views from the top.
In summary despite the Covid 19 situation we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday to Srebreno. We felt perfectly safe the whole time and we were pleased to see that on the whole social distancing measures were being followed and facemasks worn in shops and public transport. We would love to return in the future and can highly recommend both Villas Srebreno and the Sheraton Hotel.

We enjoyed a week at these apartments which are affiliated with the Sheraton Dubrovnik allowing access to the pool, beach and spa facilities. Your room is also cleaned daily which is fabulous for an apartment.
The apartments are on the waterfront and less than a minute walk from the Sheraton. They are spotlessly clean and a good size. The view from the apartment is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the morning swimmers each day. On the evening there is some slight noise from the bars below when on the balcony but this can’t be heard in the room.
Srebreno is a great area although as this is our second visit we’ve noticed that it is becoming busier as Croatia increases in popularity.
As we are still currently living within a pandemic hygiene is of course essential. The rooms are cleaned daily, staff are all wearing masks and there is hand sanitiser every few yards. All in all a great place to stay.

It does what it says on the tin , fantastic location , huge apartment , exceptionally clean in fact it is as if when someone leaves the apartment they redecorate, yes there are other apartments in the area with sea views but for us the space , air con , location , cleanliness and facilities were ideal
Fabulous apartment in a fantastic location!

The Jet2 holidays website is a little confusing when it comes to these apartments. The exterior photo shows the apartments that are just outside the grounds of the Sheraton, however we actually stayed in the apartments within the hotel grounds (near the pool bar). However, they are all owned and managed by the same company and the interior decor is identical. We felt lucky to be within the hotel grounds (& in fact, nearer to the pool than any hotel resident!). However we did not have a balcony despite the Jet2 website saying all apartments had one! This really should be rectified on their website.
However, we had a wonderful holiday. The pool and bar at the Sheraton were fabulous. We even had a lovely free breakfast one morning as there was a festival going on in the resort and the staff had anticipated it would be noisy, so a free breakfast was offered.
Our apartment was very clean and modern with great aircon in the bedrooms and the lounge. We had to call the maintenance team 3 times, but on each occasion they dealt with the problem promptly and efficiently.
The view from the apartment out to sea was lovely and the resort was very laid back. We ate out mainly in Srebreno but also in Mlini. We also used the local boat service to go TK Dubrovnik (about 25 mins away).
We really did have a great time and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
