A two night break.

We stayed in a room overlooking the car park which is not a problem as its nice and quiet .The rooms are large and very well appointed clean and airy. The cornish fudge on the bed awaits you, there is a well appointed coffee and tea and bottled water supply. The bar area and restaurant is spotlessly clean .This is our forth visit and I can tell you the food is excellent (and always has been) the breakfasts are spot on .Weve only been home a couple of days and already we want to go back.
The reception staff especially Megan are a credit to the Llawnroc, nothing is to much trouble ------------love it.

Stayed one night, partial sea view room.
Staff extremely friendly especially at the restaurant.
We dined in the restaurant and had the Sunday roast menu, delicious.
Hand sanitizers everywhere within the hotel.
Nice outside lounge area to sit and unwind.
Would definitely recommend this boutique hotel.
No thanks keep your money we don’t need the business??!!!!

Due to staff shortages the hotel were not taking bookings for meals OR drinks from non residents. We were actually staying in the village and would happily have spend our money here every night had the hotel wanted it!!!
When we arrived to book dinner they only had 7 guests in sight with 2 bar attendants neither serving anyone. This business doesn’t want your money others do.
What a little gem and definitely coming back

We arrived on Saturday 14th August, for a 7 night stay. We booked a sea view with balcony. ( had room 5) it was a great room, very spacious, clean and tidy. We had a large bathroom with bath and rain shower over, and a hand spray. There were some nice shampoo’s and shower gel etc. The towels were very good quality, including the bath robes. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best I have slept in, in the UK. There was plenty of hanging and drawer space for all our clothes etc. There was a good sized fridge and safe in the cupboard. The usual tea and coffee making facilities.
We had 4 evening meals at the Llawnroc, I must say the quality was very good and not over priced. The chef certainly knew what he was doing in the kitchen.
We did find a local pub and had dinner here 2 nights also, as it’s nice to get out and around the area.
Breakfast in the morning was excellent too. With all the usual cereal, toast, full English, veggie breakfast, salmon and poached eggs, plus more I can’t remember. The quality of the food was fantastic, and I didn’t have a full everyday, or I would have had to diet when getting home.😜 the location of the hotel is great if you want some peace and quiet (we loved it) it is down a fairly steep road to the beach. But worth it. Check the tide times, as when it’s out you have a big beach, but when the tide is in, it’s very small. It’s very safe in the water, fantastic for water sports (not motorised) you can hire paddle boards and kayaks too. Near the beach is a cafe, fish and chip shop and a small convenience store. Good for snacks etc.
We were very impressed with the wonderful service we had while there. Yes they were understaffed at times, but they always had a smile on their faces, they would serve you as soon as they could. We were on holiday, why stress because you had to wait a few minutes sometimes. Big shout out to Chloe and Josh ( they are the only names we managed to get) the manageress and all the other staff we have not mentioned, for making our week in Cornwall, one we will never forget.
Thank you. Martin and Sandra Simmons.
