Excelente servicio, bello lugar y comida deliciosa! Es bueno hacer el recorrido del velero. El buffet vale la pena y la vista desde el comedor espectacular, todas las habitaciones lindas bien decoradas.

Eastern Shore Paradise!

My wife and I had a wonderful time here and cannot recommend it enough! We stayed during the Christmas season and the management was able to create an amazingly cozy, festive, and luxury experience. They also have wonderful events daily that you can participate in! Cannot express how great Tyler in hosting these events--in fact, he was so great we ended up attending four event he hosted in a single day! (glass etching, ornament painting, bodyscrub, evening toast). We hear that summer has a completely different dynamic and plan to attend during the warmer months as well!

MY “SPECIAL” CELEBRATION AT THE INN AT PERRY CABIN
Opinión escrita el 20 de decembre de 2022
We celebrated my “special” birthday and chose The Inn at Perry Cabin based on reputation as well as location. There were 16 of us and I arranged for our rooms (8 of them) in order to spend the night following our cocktail hour and dinner in a private dining room. We also had breakfast together the next morning. Not one thing, NOT ONE, was disappointing. The staff is truly remarkable and incredibly helpful. The surroundings are beautiful and since this was Holiday time, made even more so by the decorations. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable as well as immaculate. The services provided in each room included little extras such as delicious chocolate chip cookies, small gifts (a monkey knot key chain) and top of the line bath, body and hair products. The food was beyond belief. Chef Gregory is an award winner and there is no doubt why as you learn once you taste and view his fabulous creations. My birthday was even more “special” due to this magnificent venue and it’s beautiful surroundings, amazing staff whose congeniality knows no bounds and incredible food and drink. Whether you are looking for special venue for a private event or an overnight or weekend getaway, i can’t think of any place more enjoyable and beautiful than The Inn at Perry Cabin. And when you visit, make certain you try their original drink, THE WEDDING CRASHER which gets its name from the film of the same name which was actually filmed right there at The Inn. I recommend THE INN AT PERRY CABIN WITHOUT A MOMENT’S HESITATION!

Masquerading as 5 Stars

After 2 previous visits as a couple (and a 3rd for my husband) my husband and I, after 2 1/2 years of lockdown, booked our first trip since Covid to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary. We booked the most expensive suite, once again. Because of Covid we were still only eating outdoors and requested a 7 or 7:30 pm reservation on the patio for our special night, made all the more special after the nightmare of Covid. I was told by the food and beverage manager that they could/would not guarantee there would be a table for us. She suggested we show up at 5:30! I said that was unacceptable, not being farmers, and she said much past 6 would be chancy. It was suggested that we could eat in our room if no tables were free when we came and it would be the room service menu. Really, for our anniversary? At a 5 star resort you do not expect to have a simple, and most reasonable request denied so vigorously and definitively. Her comments to me were condescending and tone deaf. Grudgingly, we showed up at 6 and as the night progressed there were always 3-5 tables empty on the patio. A glass of sparkling “whatever”from the Inn’s Manager did nothing to make up for all the fuss and upset they had caused. I don’t think any of the guests would have even noticed or objected to a reserved sign on a table that would have been designated just for us. I would have gladly chosen another restaurant, but on a Monday, all the really good restaurants are closed. Ironically, they take reservations for inside! Go figure. Also, because of Covid, we did not want the housekeeper in our room while we were in the room. I told them that from 9-11 they could not come as my husband would be resting. Every morning I reminded the front desk on the way to breakfast at 7 to tell housekeeping. They never got it right and disturbed him every day of our visit! BTW, they never left, or sent us a survey, perhaps knowing in advance how unhappy we were. Nor did they ask our Virtuoso travel agent about her feedback from us which I understand is usual. I doubt very much that we will ever return.

Obnoxiously over priced

If you are at the mercy of this establishment for your room assignment (which you will be) and you get a ground floor room, be ready for a horrible experience. You might as well have your bed in the hallway. Additionally you have no control over the thermostat (big trend in the industry now). Our room was HOT HOT every night, even though we tried to set the thermostat to 68 then 65, the room kept showing 72-74 no matter what we did. Front desk staff was rude and said nothing they can do. Here is the best part, everything is unbelievably marked up...it's almost comical..2 sandwiches with 2 non alcohol fizzy drinks on a sail boat excursion $125 dollars....They charged us room service fee and taxes and fees fees fees to have lunch on a $900 dollar sail boat half day trip...Unbelievable. Unless you don't care about money, noise and heat while sleeping, go for it. Otherwise you're better of staying somewhere else.
