Wonderful and Memorial December 2022 Wedding in St Pete

We had a wonderful memorable stay at the Hilton Garden Inn for our daughter's December wedding in the area. From Maria/ Sales Coordinator, Room block, Welcome Dinner on the Sand Space and Day of room service prepared by Coconut Charlies to front desk, housekeeping, hotel staff to hotel amenities; All was well done, clean, professional, detailed and the food was delicious, beautifully prepared and served. So many options for our family and friends to gather, relax, and enjoy the beautiful grounds and the Gulf coast was just a few steps from the Hotel. It couldn't have been better. The ceremony and reception were at different locations, but the Hilton was a perfect choice for hotel accommodations for the entire wedding party and guests. We were a party of about 68 and all enjoyed! Would highly recommend the hotel for those having a wedding in the area or for any occasion. We used the local trolley/shuttle service to transport everyone to and from the wedding events and it worked out perfect. St Pete Beach is a fun area, has a great downtown and lots of great restaurants.

We had the suite and it was amazing. Very clean. Very nice. I would highly recommend staying here when in St Pete’s. The coconut bar is also a ton of fun.very close to the water. Short walk. Staff was very friendly pool is great. Very close to a lot of food and bars.

Disappointed in the staff and GM

We are Diamond members and this was our first stay at this hotel. This hotel was formerly a Howard Johnson Hotel and was renovated to a Hilton property. The beds were extremely firm and not comfortable. You can hear ppl talking in the hall. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was very good as well as the service. My biggest complaint was housekeeping. We were granted a late checkout (noon) and I got a call at 11:30 asking if we were leaving after I was told I had a late checkout. Soon after I had the supervisor knock on my door ar 11:35 and telling me I didn’t have approval for a late checkout and then 5 minutes later so had another housekeeping lady accused me of not having a late checkout. Both the ladies in housekeeping were extremely unprofessional and didn’t treat me as the guest. I went down and spoke with the GM and she said, “I will look at the camera because the lady in housekeeping said you swore and use the “F” word which I have never said. Being a professional, I would never talk to anyone in a disrespectful way. I was very disappointed how the GM sided with her staff.

The Perfect Getaway !

I was surprised I just have excellent this resort is. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. Each of the rooms has a small balcony or patio. The true highlight are the outdoor amenities. The pool bar and restaurant offered excellent food and drinks. There’s a volleyball court lawn games and the star attraction, the beach. The hotel provides lounge chairs, and Cabana umbrellas at no additional cost. The overall atmosphere is contemporary, relaxing, perfect for family, or a couples, romantic getaway.
