Denise Turns Red Roof Inn a 5-Star Resort
Reviewed 2 August, 2021
On a trip from New York to Miami Beach, you hope to just find a decent place to sleep for the night and have little other expectations. My mom hated the idea of staying at a motel for the night. But Denise changed all that, and impressed both my mother and I with her 10-star service. What makes this even more unique is that we arrived at 2am, when front desk clerks are usually the least attentive. From the moment we arrived, Denise saw us, and came running out with a warm welcoming smile and prolific assistance helping me to back up our Uhaul truck and get it parked properly and safely. I'll never forget the vision of Denise running alongside our Uhaul truck like a marathon runner or an Indy 500 pace car. But it doesn't stop there. She welcomed our small little dog and made Caramia's tail wag at twice the normal speed, and gave us a wonderfully quick and efficient check in. Beyond this, the room itself was very clean and comfortable, and even my mom liked it, which is a tall order. She even said, "Maybe we can stay here for a few days." If Denise is not yet a manager, she needs to be promoted immediately. If she is already a manager, she needs to become district supervisor. If she is already district supervisor, I expect to see her in the Red Roof Headquarters boardroom by the end of August or I will be writing a negative review about Red Roof Inn. Why? Because if every staff member at Red Roof were like Denise, then Hyatt, Marriot, and Hilton would soon have no customers and many vacant rooms. Because of Denise, Red Roof has turned from a 2-star dumpy roadside motel into a 10-star luxury resort. Further, thanks to Denise, we are actively looking to stay at other Red Roof Inns for the rest of our journey to Miami Beach. However, I have a feeling that no Red Roof Inn stay will be as memorably positive because they won't have Denise there. She has given an otherwise difficult journey a refreshing reprieve in this oasis of relaxation known as the Red Roof Inn & Suites Stafford. And we're not even staying in one of the suites. I think we have the least expensive room. To make my mother happy is a great achievement for anyone, and Denise has gone above and beyond in doing that and made my job of transporting her to Florida much easier. Red Roof would be wise to enlist Denise to train the rest of the Red Roof team on how to properly conduct customer service, particularly at 2am, when arriving customers are likely in their most exhausted state. Kudos to Red Roof and Pratik (General Manager) for having the insight and foresight to bring on this wonderful woman. If her husband, who apparently is retired military, could see her in action, he would be impressed with her stamina, smile, and selfless service. God bless America, Red Roof, and my mom's good night's sleep. Hooah!

This place is absolutely disgusting. We needed a room last minute traveling south. Based on reviews we selected this Red Roof Inn. The reviews were way off. The room smelled of smoke and mildew. The bathroom was disgusting, substances splattered on the walls and carpet and when we wiped down the tv remote, light switches and door knobs the sanitizing wipes were brown with grime. I would have asked for another room or canceled the reservation but it was late, no refund for cancellation and it's doubtful that any other room would have been better.
Very nice room

Really pretty old village with an old traditional Inn, fabulous food and drink, we have never had a bad meal, always excellent service, nothing is too much trouble.
We go there with friends for lunch and in the evening occasionally and absolutely love it. Would highly recommend a visit.
