This is not a Hotel - it is a Training Centre. It is best thought of as a corporate necessesity. The rooms are divided into four accomodation blocks. They were small, but functional, with very firm beds. There was a TV, a Kettle and good wifi in our room. We did have to source extra pillows, towels and duvets from an unused room as everything about it was really set up for individuals, not couples. As a vegetarian, the food did not poison me and it was plentiful, but the selection was limited. There was lots of good space for training. - which was what we needed. The covered walkways were baffling as they did not meet the buildings and did little to protect you from the sideways wind and rain. You need to walk about with your coat on, but the walkways do provide lighting at night, which unfortunately they did not stretch to the car park. The pathways were clogged with leaves and overall it did not have the maintenance levels I would expect from a hotel. However, the staff were friendly and helpful and the venue met our training needs. We were able to book out the entire venue for several hundred people who came from all over the country to be trained.
Excellent - But remember it's a Training Centre, not a Hotel

I booked my accommodation here as an independent traveller, not knowing quite what to expect. IT IS NOT A HOTEL so don't expect a hotel-type experience. For starters, it's a longish walk from the car park to Reception and it's not very well signposted for the absolute stranger. You then have another longish walk - outdoors, under covered walkways - to your room. My room was small but contained everything you need for a comfortable stay: a nice double bed; very trendy bedside lights; wonderfully bright main light. The furnishings are very tasteful, considering it's a training centre. The shower is very classy and modern - superior to many a conventional hotel. When it comes to food and drink, there are some limitations in terms of times, though the food itself is exceptionally good. Dinner is served between 17:45 and 19:00, while Breakfast is between 07:00 and 08:00. There's another walk under the stars to what they describe as the Restaurant but what is really a magnificently-appointed Canteen. There's an excellent choice of food, catering to all tastes. I had Vegetarian Lasagne which was just as tasty as home-cooked, followed by an exquisite Pecan Pie, all made on the premises. Food is served buffet style and you take your own tray to your table. There is a Bar and Lounge but this is only open in the evening, so I bought a glass of wine to take with me to Dinner, after which you take your tray back to the tray towers for clear-up. To the uninitiated it would be useful to get a welcome sheet from Reception, outlining Check-in and Check-out times; a layout map showing the various accommodation blocks (I had to ask someone); Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner times.

Was there training as a Post Office Engineer in the eighties and was run like a prison with all their rules and regulations back then and very cheap holiday camp with their terrible food and entertainment but now looking back I loved every minute of it !
Very friendly and helpful staff!

I spent 5 nights at Yarnfield Park for my induction week working for a new company. All the staff were very friendly with big smiles and helpful with any issues I had. The food from the restaurant was very tasty every day. I enjoyed all the meals very much. I had no issues with the room at all. Finally just a big thank you to all the staff for everything that I needed during my stay!

I was booked into Yarnfield for a week away with work. The staff who are there are very friendly and happy to serve you. The meals are excellent with a very good variety on offer. Rooms are a little dated but the staff friendliness definitely make up for it. Yes I would stay here again no problem
