A real gem in the heart of the Peaks
The Manifold Inn is a rare combination of a truly old and cosy pub but with modern and very well equipped guest rooms - the breakfast is fab and the service is friendly and attentive and for the summer months they have a great outdoor bar area - the local walks are fantastic. Make sure you visit as soon as we are allowed.
Hidden Gem
This was bought for me as a gift, what a lovely present. Lovely accommodation, all staff me met were excellent and very knowledgeable about the area giving us lots of advice. Fabulous food. We will definitely return, thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

Cycling trip in October
Good accommodation in the cottage attached to the pub. Food good although as a vegan a rotation of menu would help variety. Close to lots of walking and cycling routes so very good location. Cottage contained all you would need although a washing machine would have been handy for wet and muddy cycling gear. Beds comfortable. It was hard to contact the Inn by phone and often rang out not sure why this was, needed to contact regarding COVID restrictions. They coped with COVID restrictions very well and felt safe. Entrance door could do with adjustment very stiff and adjusting heating proved a bit tricky. My friend did say the rear bedroom was noisy from the air conditioning from the kitchen / pub.Overall a great break and would visit again.
