One Serious Mistake and One Design Flaw Caused Them to Miss "Excellent"
The Good: First, this place is new and still pretty clean. Access was easy. Check-in was flawless. Everything is the room seemed OK at first. (Read on...) The bad: Until I noticed in one corner of the room, a motion detector. it's not there to protect your belongings when you're out of the room. It's there to keep the heating/AC from running while you're asleep. Thus, you'll either freeze or sweat in the middle of the night. Bad move Being "green" isn't always good for the customer. Also, the backlights noted in the wall switches by a previous reviewer were flickering or completely out in most of the switches in my room. Also, when it was turned off, the ceiling light in the bathroom still softly flickered. The Ugly: When I checked-in, I left a wake-up call for 7 AM. When I woke-up at 7:55, I picked-up the phone to ensure it was working. It was. Obviously, my call was missed. Summary: Despite the glitches, I might stay here again...
Great Overnight in Staunton
Stayed for 1 night with my son while driving the Skyline Drive. Great price and room appointments. Clean and quiet. Didn't get a chance to try their grab n go breakfast. Shower instead of tub was different.
Good stay
based on reviews of the cleanliness, and that we travel with a pet, we picked this place while traveling south. We were pleased with the stay. Many options in area for dinner. Light breakfast available.

I echo all the positive reviews. This is a very nice, convenient hotel. Clean (towels were bagged and sealed), quiet an comfortable. Half way stop on our trip home. Will definitely stop here again on our regular pilgrimage.
A rare affordable quality experience
I almost never give a hotel a 5-star rating but this property deserves it. The pillows were fluffy and the mattress was equisite. The front desk staff all appear to like their jobs and people which are rare qualities nowadays. All the wall switches have small lights in their rockers so that you can find them in the dark. There are electric charging stations in the parking lot if you need them. The room was very quiet. Pleasantly surprised with this property and Sleep Inns in general.
