Value Plus
New owners here part way through upgrading a place which had been run down- you can see it will be excellent. With fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and new TV with Netflix. Modern bathroom, new bed and sitting area. Mason and team very keen to please and we thought it was well worth the price. Wishing them all the best.
Last minute stay
Quick and easy check in as it was a last minute decision! Great customer service! Room is spacious and shower is nice and hot with awesome pressure. Heater was perfect and warmed up the room extremely well! Also there is electric blankets too. It's winter and Im a cold bug and also from sunny Qld so that makes this place a perfect 10 in my eyes lol. I called to book in and price was about 30$ cheaper than the online price so even better! Would definitely stay again if in the area!
Good Room
We stayed at Stawell Motel overnight on our way to Melbourne from Adelaide and the room was very good and management was very obliging. A light breakfast was also supplied. We would definitely stay there again.
Motel Stawell
Fabulous little Motel on Western Highway. Very clean room, fresh bed with crisp white sheets and extra comfy and clean pillows. New flat screen TV with Foxtel and free wifi. TV was a good size for the room. Room and bathroom where spacious and bathroom was newly appointed with separate toilet . Ammenities were nice and tea, coffee, ironing board and iron plus extra heater all there. Microwave and small fridge also worked well. The Lady offers complimentary continental breakfast of cereal, toast & jam/marmalade fresh butter and real milk plus tea and coffee all in her little dining area near reception. Room was ready at 11.30 am with no extra charge for early arrival and there was no big rush to leave the next day. Would recommend staying for business or pleasure. Plenty of car parking and the local Taxi Will drive you around if you don’t feel like driving. Taxi offers a good on time service. There is plenty of delivered take away food options from fish and chips to Cantonese and Chinese pizza and MC Donald’s is a two minute walk away. We will be back to experience more of the lovely interesting historical town. The operating gold mine and views are cool to visit and observe . Excellent value for money and a welcoming stay at this family operated business .
Great value for money, family owned business.
Spent two nights at this motel whilst visiting the Grampians. Clean, good facilities, separate toilet to the bathroom, comfortable bed, free continental breakfast. This appears to be a family owned business, and they were lovely. Yes, we had a few small bugs. This is country Victoria. They are around, and harmless. You will find them in rural areas. Not deserving of a bad review and requesting discounts as previous visitor has done! Heading back this way, we would definitely book again!
