Worst experience EVER !!!! was close to die !!!
The Hotels is ok, BUT the transfer is WORST EVER !!! my plane was delayed half hour. i called the hotel when arrived around 11.40 PM "the transfer stops at 00" so i could get the transfer. but when i went outside it was gone !!! called the hotel again and was told told they have left me. THESE IN THE MIDDLE OF SWEDISH WINTER AT 15 BELOW ZERO !!! I WAS TOLD TO WAIT OUTSIDE... THAT UNTIL 3 AM !!! OVER 3 HOURS !!!! I WAS CLOSE TO HYPOTERMIA !!! FREEZE TO DEATH !!! NEVER EVER CONNECT HOTEL ARLANDA !!!! STAY AWAY !!! YOU COULD DIE !!!
A quick sleepover
Functional but poor quality stay if you value your time to sleep before your next journey. Rooms were very "used", environment in the room were very unstable and far from cozy. This is an okay stay if you don't mind hearing your neighbors every 5 seconds or if you fancy listening to party growls all night long. Staff were helpful and good. Breakfast looked a bit on the short side for me as a vegan (as usual).
No shutle bus from the airport for us and zero solution from the staff !!!
The shuttle bus was not coming in the checkpoint location indicated by the hotel !! It was necessary to pay a taxi at 200kr !! And no empathy or try to find a solution for us from the staff !! It was a bad first impression of Sweden for us !!! Fortunatelly, we had a better hotel after in center of Stockholm.
Be weary of the resturant
I have stayed several times at this hotel and none of them have been a 10/10. I'm not picky or anything, it's just - there is always "something"! This time I decided to try the resturant for the first time, took the normal burger & fries. Ordered beers and whiskey while waiting. The burger I recieved was raw in the middle, frozen patties raw? I am not eating that! Returned the burger and got a new one, this time overcooked to death and thrown down in silence and without an apology. This is the first time Ever - I have retutned food! And they made me feel like I done something wrong by returning food?! I at least expected an "I am sorry for your food, here is a new one" - all I needed! This review would look differently if that had been the case! The room I booked was tiny, with a double bed with one tiny desk. Shower was small and one kept hitting the sides trying to shower in it. (I did grab their cheapest, so not disliking this hotel because of the room size) The towels were all old and well used - one of them even missed all the hanging hooks on it, the loops just hanging there loose, broken. The soap I got a eczema from - never had that happen before, so no idea what soap they use but it must be cheap. I will not be staying at this hotel again, time to try other hotels near Arlanda when traveling. Thank you for the receptionists and the transfer shuttles, very polite and helpful!
Great value for money and excellent service
My wife and I stayed here on 2 separate nights just before flying to Singapore and then after the return journey. This is a great hotel to stay at for 1 or 2 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff very helpful and attentive and the food and drink very good.
