This is a natures resort Wildlife, hiking, fishing and enjoying the sounds of nature can all be found at this resort If you want shopping and site seeing you are within an hour of cities that you can enjoy these vacation must The resort could use a little upgrade but the beds were very comfortable and all appliances in working condition We will be going back to this resort

Property was very clean and well maintained. They had some nice shared space for sitting, reading eating and enjoying the fireplace. They are located in a very remote location with very little activity in the area, but great place to hike or relax.

I would say run before even arriving! We came to stay here last summer for a week and we ended up canceling our reservation after seeing the room and dealing with the awful front desk employee. It is a very remote location, it took us about 10 minutes on dirt / pot hole infested roads. We were exploring the coast of Maine so we arrived around 9 pm, I had received so many calls to see where we were at. When we arrived, we hadn't eaten dinner so we planned on checking in and then heading back out to find some food. We were told that the doors were closed at 10 pm...in order to leave and come back we would have to call the front desk guy and have him open the doors for us. There was absolutely no cell phone service! I don't know how we would have ever called if we had to. Then after we checked in, the guy AND HIS DOG walked us INTO our room and stayed there for a couple minutes as if he wanted to hang out. We got into the room that was probably last renovated in the 70s with a Murphy bed on the wall and windows so fogged up we couldn't see outside. There wasn't any internet really nor TV cable, just some VHS's to watch (I don't even know what decade this is). There wasn't a phone in the room either and we were told if we had an emergency we could find him and use the phone in his room. On top of all of that, there was just this VERY off-putting creepy vibe that gave me the impression that we would be victims of a serial killer or have cameras scattered throughout the room for the front desk attendant to watch. To say the least we decided to book it to the closest motel (The West Bethel Motel) that would still be open and that place was awesome in comparison to this place. We had some problems trying to leave the place and I'm pretty sure we still paid for the first night but that's a small price to pay to leave a place that gives serial killer vibes. About two weeks later, we had a fraudulent Netflix charge on the card used to book the room. Overall, I would save your time and money and keep yourself safe by not going anywhere near this place! Not only do they make you feel unsafe but they steal your credit card information when they can!!!!!

It was a good size room for 2 people and 2dogs. Other than that; the bathroom light didn’t work , in the morning when I tried to take a shower there was no water, couldn’t brush my teeth & the breakfast had plenty of muffins and bagels. Would not recommend.

Trip to Maine from New Mexico

No rooms available when we arrived even though we booked it three months in advance thru RCI. When we finally got a room, it was a studio with a Murphy Bed instead of the two bedroom we booked. Very underwhelmed again with RCI
