Great little getaway

A lovely place to get away to with lots on offer. Beautiful surroundings and rooms, and the food was amazing from each dinning outlet. Also, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend visiting the Trapp lodge!

This was a gorgeous getaway where we hiked through quiet trails, soaked our aching bones in the hot tub watching sunsets - had lovely meals at the Bierhall and Main Room and relaxed by our fire. The grounds are fun to explore and the staff is fantastic. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Trapp Family Lodge. We spent two nights just to relax and unwind. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. I highly recommend booking a trip there.

Perfect! The lodge is beautiful, the views are unbeatable, the staff is friendly, the tour guides are knowledgeable, the dinners were great, the beer is tops, and the overall experience was so nice we are planning on a return visit with the kids.

My husband has never seen The Sound of Music but I've always been a fan so I loved all the family photos and movie posters around the lodge. Our room was spacious and had a cute dining nook and a back door with an outdoor patio where we stored left overs bc there was no fridge. I was able to walk to the chapel from there--so beautiful. Kaffehaus and Bierhall were better than main dining room for prices and freshness. Indoor pool had just opened so was too cold to swim but the outdoor jacuzzi was large enough for several couples and sauna was all ours. Masking to work out when masks aren't required elsewhere seems contradictory. Hopefully they'll bring back housekeeping someday because a luxury hotel should have more amenities like a cleaned room
