Good restaurant / average Hotel
This is a reasonably priced hotel that could be so much more- with friendly staff, beautiful gardens, a traditional restaurant with good German food in a historical building. but I am afraid the hotel itself is badly in need of some maintenance and a good spring clean: hard floors, upholstery and carpets are very grubby, glass in the lift is broken, the mattress kept on sliding off the base .... I think the decor has not been changed since 1950’s. Good stop from cycling groups.
25th wedding anniversary tour
A wonderful welcome was made to us as we walked through the doors, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. nice quiet room, lovely evening meal with a great vibe to the place from staff and other guests. About a mile into Germany and set back away from the main road, it's now 2200 and it is silent.
Delicious dinner !
We come regularly to Winterswijk to visit my mom-in-law. Every time we try out a new restaurant. She suggested this venue for our dinner and man was it good! Superior service by a helpful, professional staff. Food was really very well prepared, haven't eten this good in a long time! If in Winterswijk, take the time to drive over to Oeding, 15 mins and enjoy this restaurant. Price was reasonable as well!! Nice choice of meals, I chose the asperges as it is in season with salmon, but from schnitzel to chicken, beef and veal there's something for everyone. Delish!!
Great Hotel
Stayed here whist visiting for a friends birthday. She recommended we stay here and well done her. The atmosphere is really friendly, the layout of the bar and restaurant is very well done. The rooms are spacious and clean, very good value for money. Will be back....

Not fancy place not new furniture, carpets etc. but the place same as stuff wonderful, friendly and kind. For me personally that is more important than anything other. I suggest to everyone! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
