Fantastic B & B

Reviewed 23 october, 2017

A very charming B & B set in the centre of a stunning location. The b & B is run by a extremely nice and helpful family that could not do more to make you feel at home. The room I had was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Overall a great place to stay.

Excellent B&B in the heart of Sulmona

Reviewed 11 october, 2017

Beautiful B&B situated on Il Corso Sulmona. Fully restored historical building. Rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. Large bathroom and also very clean. Hosted by Oscar who greeted you every morning with a smile and great coffee, his mother is also lovely. Great breakfast to start the day and street parking available in close vicinity. Ciao from Australia Rina e Pasquale ☺

Great location lovely stay

Reviewed 29 may, 2017

Stayed here for 4 nights (liked Sulmona so much I extended my stay). The room was great (particularly liked the fact the automatic velux blinds especially as the window was so high up you wouldn't be able to reach otherwise so ventilation relies on the a/c) big with comfy bed. The bathroom (shared also good though there was only one other person sharing which helped). Bathroom downsides were that it was only cleaned once while I was there which was odd and meant I had to ask the very charming oscar for more toilet paper - there is also a very tempting bath but only enough hot water to get an inch of hot water into it which was a bit frustrating! I'm afraid that impacted the scoring which would otherwise have been higher mostly driven by the very personable Oscar Oscar who runs the place also has another flat that is rented out and there are a couple of big en suite rooms. He is a treat (had spent time in Australia and comes from the area) and always there for breakfast so more available than many b&b owners in Italy. Btw - breakfast always includes a fresh cake as well as bread and jams and some cereals so high marks there. Location great (practically the first place you get to if coming from the train station.) its about a mile steady uphill climb so the lift up to the b&b is welcome! It's on the main drag but very quiet when I was there

Outstanding B&B

Reviewed 29 october, 2015

Oscar is a great host and this is a wonderful B&B in a historic building at a great location in Sulmona. A beautiful town park is right next door where you can enjoy a walk in the morning or evening. The breakfast is very good, the rooms are comfortable, and Oscar will give you any information you need on the best spots for dinner and local places to visit. You will enjoy your stay!

Loved staying here

Reviewed 21 october, 2015

We found this accommodation perfectly situated in town, in the main shopping precinct. Oscar was a great host, funny, caring and nothing was too much trouble for him and we loved opening the shutters in the morning to check out what was happening in the passing parade.
