Villa Perka is a real Paradise on Earth for those who appreciate beautiful countryside, a bit of luxury as well as kids' facilities at one place... and still want to enjoy peace and quiet holiday at the seaside. The olive trees, the herb garden, the sea view ... AND the pool and the playground. You don't get many place like this in Croatia. Only get ready for a bit more demanding terrain to get around, eg. in case you use the pram and prefer a promenade-style walks. Thank you very much, will be happy to come back.

Villa Perka is a beautiful old stone villa, it has stunning views... excellent facilities and is a very special & tranquil place to stay. It’s location is perfect to enjoy the sea, only a short walk to the water and two excellent restaurants, Paris bakery with fresh bread, fresh fruit stall and a small shop. The villa and it’s apartments are very comfortable and clean, but what is really special is the outside terraces and pool area. We love it so much we keep going back...

From the moment we enquired about the property nearly a year ago, the service and communication from the owner was superb. This was really helpful as organising a large family holiday to a destination we haven't visited before could otherwise be very stressful!!! Vilma helped with everything from offering contacts for speedboat transfers from the airport to the village jetty (this worked out great value, quick and most fun for a large group), car hire (a must for getting out and exploring the beautiful island towns and beaches) to helping arrange a 60th birthday cake and recommendations for restaurants. She even ensured we had some basic supplies ready for our arrival as the small (but accessible and well stocked) local village shop would have been closed then. The property itself was configured suitably for our group of 16, being split into 3 self contained apartments it worked perfectly for each family group with children but still meant that we could all eat meals together around the lovely large family table on the veranda outside the largest apartment with stunning sea views. The property was very clean, spacious and well equipped, we honestly wanted for nothing there during our weeks stay. The pool area is gorgeous and was very well used by us all, especially the 6 children! The village is peaceful, secluded and unspoiled, a small beach which is worth visiting and only a couple of restaurants (we visited one of these which was lovely but we found expensive compared to others in other towns on the island). An early morning hike to the monastery in the cave is a must as the scenery from that point is spectacular, well worth the steep climb through the village and past the vineyards. Whilst we had car hire for 3 days we visited Hvar town, Stari Grad town, Vebroska town, Jelsa town and Dubrovika beach, everywhere was not only beautiful but also welcoming and very clean and easy to find. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be visiting again, the property and location exceeded all of our expectations and only a 2 hour flight from London. We rented the entire villa for 12 people and it was fantastic, from the view and facilities through to the minute details of a small bar of handmade lavender soap in every bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble to sort by the manageress who lives above and was delightful. We do a family holiday every year for 12 people (ages 7 to 75 currently!) and this villa was one of the best we have ever been too. We wish we could have booked it for 2 weeks but sadly it was only available for 1 due.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Perka in June. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. The balcony outside offered fantastic views of the sea. We were looking for a place to chill away from the busy side of the island and this had everything we needed. The coast on this side of Hvar is beautiful and there is lots to explore. On the last day we visited the small village just above Villa Perka and the cave further up - the views were amazing. Vilma was a great host and on the last day we bought some of her handmade products (brandy, olive oil and soaps). She went out of her way to help us when we discovered after traveling to Dubrovnik that I had left my passport behind. Thank you so much Vilma :) We would love to visit again.
