One Night Stay!
Opinión escrita el 17 de Junio de 2021
We would not rate this hotel as excellent, good at best!! We had a first floor room on the back side of building. First thing, we had numerous problems with our key card not working, even the check-in girl had a big problem getting the door open!! It was labeled as a handicap room, however, it had a tub/shower & very low potty. It had a very musty, yucky smell and after getting settled and taking our shoes off, the carpeting was very damp. No HOT breakfast...still handing out to-go breakfast and not very tasty at all. We were not impressed at all, especially after staying at another Quality Inn in Kodak, TN that served a delicious hot breakfast!!!!! AND totally remodeled:)
Room was fine, but was accused of stealing 9 towels and charged $72!!

My friend and I were only at this hotel for one night. He had his room, I had mine. We checked out the next morning and were on our way to Chattanooga. The next day, I checked my online bank statement and discovered I had an extra $72 charge..
I called the hotel, and the front desk man told me that the maid said that my friend's room was missing 9 towels and that's why I was charged.
I said, "NO, no, no, no, that is not right! He did not steal towels!" I knew this, not only because of his character, but because when we got to Chattanooga, I watched him unpack at the AirBnB! No towels!
But this guy stuck to his guns. When I asked if there was a manager I could talk to, he said, "No, the only recourse is for you to dispute it with your bank...BUT WE WILL FIGHT YOU."
I did dispute it with my bank, and now it's "under investigation."
Soooooooo, I can only go by our experience. We don't know if the maid wrote about the theft on the wrong room, if SHE took the towels or if this is a scam the hotel management is running.
The hotel was fine, nothing special, but clean...however, you may be falsely accused of stealing, and you may end up paying more than you think at this hotel!!!
I certainly wouldn't go back.

The room was clean and spacious. Our room suite style room have plenty of room to spare and a nice bathroom. They had a nice balcony, and clean hallways. Due to the pandemic, they didn't have a traditional breakfast, but they offered a nice sack breakfast (including a sandwich that can be warmed up in your room). The employees were great, as well. Friendly and polite.

Didn’t have the highest hopes knowing it was an older hotel and check-in was slow😮 WE stayed on the frontside of the hotel, maybe 100 yards. from a main road, so you will hear traffic when awake😳 Maybe ask for room in back IF your a light sleeper😉 Heard nothing through the walls or other guests😀 Bed was comfortable😀 Overall room came off clean. Plenty of hot shower water with GREAT pressure! Room was fine in size for a one night stay. Liked the ADA size toilet, many hotels miss putting these in all rooms due to cost, nice job! TV channels were easy to negative and had plenty of channels. Breakfast was nothing special, yet, the nation is still in Covid fear mode. Coffee was weak in taste😕 A few grab and go pastries, yogurts and a breakfast sandwich😳Area came off safe and secure. Would I stay again passing through, yes!
This place is fantastic!!

Check in was quick and friendly. I wish I would have got the name of the sweet lady that checked us in, she has such a warm southern personality, and found exactly what we needed. (Adjoining rooms, with 2 queens in each room). I’ve stayed in enough places to know that 2 queens will normally connect to 1 king, so this was a SCORE!!
The entire place was extremely clean. Along with the fridge, the rooms also have microwaves. Super handy for traveling families, when not everyone’s appetite schedules vary!
One thing I particularly liked about the room, there are 2 entry doors for access. The main one enters your room from the inside corridor of the hotel from the front desk. But then there’s another door in the back of the room that leads you outside. You can park your car outside of your room, and still go back and forth for forgotten items without having to go all the way through the main lobby. Such a convenience!! This is a luxury I can get used to!!
I can’t say for sure, but the walls must be really well insulated. The parking lot was nearly full, so there were certainly other guests staying here, but yet we all slept like babies!! No noises from upstairs, or on either side of the walls.
Beds are super comfy with full, fluffy pillows, and comforter w/ duvet cover, instead of those cheap bedspreads you’d normally find from a highway hotel. And the breakfast “to-go” bags were awesome! Instead of the usual waxy fruit and dried muffins, this one came with a hearty ‘name brand’ breakfast biscuit and the good pastries you find at Costco. That microwave sure came in handy for that breakfast sandwich.
Management is extremely helpful. We made arrangements for a little later check-out the next day, and can I tell you, NO ONE came banging on our doors at the crack of dawn asking if we needed housekeeping. Talk about great communication with the team!!
The fitness center and indoor pool is fully operational and open until 10pm. Again, everything was immaculately clean.
Everyone we encountered at the hotel is extremely gracious, and they treat you as if you are their own personal guest, welcoming you into their home.
In the parking lot there is a gas station/convenience store. And on the other side of the parking lot is a family diner. Super convenient for traveling families with lots to do on the agenda!!
If you’re planning your family vacation to see the Lost Sea, look no further!! This place is a steal!!
We will definitely be back if we are in the area again!!
