A small hotel with the great service and perfect staff
The staff in the reception Joanna & MoMo are helpful, and Joanna listened to my input when check-in, she provided the great help and support. It makes my first stay in this hotel even more beautiful. The breakfast is very elegant and all the service / food is great. Truly enjoy the quiet and high quality breakfast time. The room is clean and feel comfortable, however, there is no view and can only see the neighbor's building. The other negative point is the insufficient parking space and very narrow parking lane. Overall, I like this hotel with the great hospitality and elegant vibe.
A great experience
試了幾次在電腦上寫評論，但一直upload 不上去。 這邊試試看用手機上傳。 Ok, it was a great experience two months ago. We checked in late. Fortunately, we made a phone call an hour before we checked in and we were welcomed by warm greetings and smiles by the front desk staffs. As usual, the warm cookie eased the anxious mind. Like we just got home safe. Special thanks go to Angel and Furby who had prepared the in-room dining we ordered through the phone. Delicious beef noodles and hot soups were amazing. Thanks for the two young ladies and the chef. It is indeed the so-called A home away from home. Thank you and we will definitely come back again. 總的來說， 飯店地點便利，服務人員專業，食物美味，尤其是夜晚的牛肉麵！！ 謝謝在11/29-30晚班的 Angel and Furby, 謝謝她們的熱心招待。 讓人感覺到回到家了或是來到朋友家的感覺。 謝謝你們！
Another (3rd) Great Stay!
This is my 3rd stay at this hotel in the trendy district of Zhonshan, Taipei. I have requested prior to check-in an upgrade to a One-Bedroom Corner Suite, which I am granted, but only a Twin room as all others are booked. Not a problem, it's the space I am after. And it is a pretty good deal - I have used ony 127,000 points for 5 nights using HHonors 'use points for 4 and get 1 free night' special offered to all members. At check-in I receive a DoubleTree Cookie, which I quickly devour as I am hungry (and it is delicious). I also am handed a Diamond gift of two glasses with cookies inside, and a welcome letter from the GM. The room is not ready yet, being only 8.30am, but I get a call a few hours later when it is. The room lounge room and bedroom are spacious, with a beautiful view of the bustling street below. The bathroom has floor to ceiling windows so you need to use the automatic curtain button to close them before you take a shower or bath. As I have booked 5 nights, I receive 12 drink vouchers to exchange for alcoholic or soft drinks in the Alley restaurant on the 2nd floor, where our complimentary Diamond breakfast is also served. The highlight of the stay is the staff - quite exceptional in everyway. Always welcoming me when I enter of leave the lobby, smiling, and helpful. Will be back next week for another night before I return home.
Outstanding services and very convenient location
Member status: gold There are two Hilton hotels in Taipei and this is a lot better one!!! Although there’s no executive lounge, But they give you not just only welcome cookies and snacks, but also free mini bar and 4 Movenpick capsules everyday! All the staffs are very warm and kind, They also give me upgrade room with balcony! You can feel much more privilege as Gold member!!! The MRT station is about 5 minutes walk away from the hotel! And there are 2 department stores with food court right by the station, and so many great restaurants around the hotel too!! Very convenient to shop and eat! Highly recommend!
Excellent hotel with one small caveat
Super nice hotel in a good location close to transportation and lots of restaurants. Got upgraded to the room with a balcony and it was very lovely with a nice tree in the ground of the balcony itself and not in a potter. Lovely decorations and very clean. Love the layout with the sink for the bathroom outside of the room itself. Got a special promotion where if you weigh yourself in kg, you get 3x off the price of the hotel if you book directly through their website. That amounts to about a 30% discount for me! Only caveat of the place is that their breakfast was very disappointing. The table paper said freshly prepared but most definitely not true. The dumplings were very dry so much so that the skin changed colors in part of the dumpling. And very limited selection of everything else. But this is a minor quibble compared to the quality of what is one of the best hotels in Taiwan.
