The devasom hotel is the best hotel I have been to. The staff are so welcoming and polite and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms was excellent and the grounds were magnificent. The food in the restaurants was excellent though a bit expensive. When you arrive you are meet by a “butler” who explains all the facilities and is always on hand every day. Ours was called Beauty and could not ask for any to be more helpful

We got to spend 5 nights at the tranquil Devasom in Khao Lak. One staff member, Max, shone for us. He went above and beyond to help us when our daughter got sick, constantly checking up on here and he was always available for restaurant recommendations, trips that were closer by to the elephant park due to our time limits. He is an asset to this hotel. Thank you Max x

Gorgeous resort with the best interior design and style. The vibe and atmosphere is calm, relaxed and a perfect place to unwind. I never left the resort for 5 days. Facilities from pool, spa and restaurants are all recommendable. Prices are equal to the fish restaurant nearby. I had both Thai massage and the coconut package massage. The coconut massage was probably top 3 massages if not the best I have had in my more than 2 months of travelling. And I have been a manager of a SPA facility as well. Perfect pressure and pressure points and checking if pressure is ok during the treatment. Managed to remove all of my knots as well as stiffness I have accumulated through the year. Was there over Christmas and it was a beautiful setting to celebrate the festivities. Buffet was with great fresh variations and beautifully presented. Staff were all very helpful and Attentive and resort manager checked everyday on guests if they were ok. The only issue are not enough sunbeds at all. So kept to the room as I was lucky to have sunny room.

Our family just had the most wonderful time at the Devasom Khao Lak resort. We were there for 5 nights with our two sons who are 14 and 11. We have been to many resorts in Thailand and were always impressed with Thai hospitality. There is nothing quite like it anywhere else in the world. At Devasom, however, we were completely blown away by the level of service. The "Butler Counter" service was amazing (note: not sure if this is available to all guests or just for certain package). Khun Beauty and Khun Nicky were assigned to look after us. We were able to communicate via WhatsApp a month before our arrival. To me, this is a game changer. This mean you can pre book all the tours you want to do, ask for recommendations on restaurants, pre warn the hotel about any allergies, reserve your spot for spa treatments, etc. We had all our five days planned and confirmed even before we arrived. This makes the arrival much more relaxing. Normally, the first day at the hotel is when we try book all the activities and, often, you are making these decisions in a rush because you just want to get on with your holiday. The hotel is as pretty as what you see on the website. We were also fortunate to be blessed with beautiful weather for the whole duration of our stay even though it was predicted for thunderstorms. Our two sons love exploring the lagoon with the paddle board and body boarding in the ocean. The private tour to Similan Islands was magical. We were lucky with the sea being so smooth. I would definitely recommend booking this tour directly with the hotel because the boat can pick you up straight from the beach at the hotel rather than a long ride in the van to a port to get on the boat. The water was so clear, the sand was white and powdery and there were plenty of beautiful fish in all the snorkeling spots. Staff were amazing. Our program was shared with the staff that served us which I thought was a nice touch. With this information, the spa staff was able to recommend treatment or massage that helps you after a long boat ride and being out in the sun all day or staff at breakfast was asking if we want our coffee in takeaway cup because she know that we were getting picked up for our day trip soon. Breakfast here is amazing. The two restaurants are top class. We'll definitely find any excuse to come back this paradise here for sure. Jason, Carina, Leo and Zac L.

Devasom was spectacular from the moment you enter. We are a family of 5 and stayed in the Two bedroom beach villa. Outstanding rooms right on the beach. We loved it so much we extended for two nights and moved to the Sky Penthouse. This was truly out of this world. From a personal butler, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast and stunning design - we cannot recommend this hotel enough. We can’t wait to come back next year.
