probably wont be staying here again
the first night we had a decent room, then they tried to put us in this disgusting room (room 238) for the rest of our weeks stay. the shower was HORRIBLE! i wouldnt even step in there with socks on. we called them and they gave us another decent room. the fridge and tv was better but the bathrooms could definitely be cleaner. i definitely wont be staying here again.
Horrible
The couch was so dirty that we couldn’t sit on it. The lamp shades were old and broke. The coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and had molded old filter in it. They advertise continental breakfast but it is just a cheap individual wrapped roll and horrible coffee. They advertise a restaurant. When asked where it is was told they don’t have one. Said your sign said you do and response was “yes ma’am”.
Terrible
The place was dirty, the sink was falling off the wall. The morning breakfast was terrible pretty much inedible no coffee had to ask to get it made. The door to the room looked like someone had used a hammer to it. Didn’t look that safe. And the room was dirty too. The bed was broken and dirty and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Will never stay there again.
Clean
Staff was friendly and helpful, room was nice and clean, about 5 minutes away from the racetrack. Only thing, no coffee pot in the room and the "fan only" part of the air conditioner/heater did not work. If you need coffee in the morning, bring a coffee pot.
Not as bad as expected!
I read the reviews and was apprehensive about staying, but it was very close to where I was needing to be so my husband and I stayed anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean. It did have a stale smell when we first arrived, but the air wasn't on so once we got the air conditioner to going the smell went away. I would stay there again if I was in the area! Also, the lady working the front desk was super nice!!
