We called for a meal
After finding that 2 restaurants were fuuly biiked, we called in at the Globe Inn. The reception was very welcoming and the menu was fine. We had our little boy with us and the staff were very accomodating. We will certainly be visiting again when we are in the area.
Excellent hotel and pub/restaurant
The staff are as always magnificent and willing to help out with any issues. The room was spotless. My only small issue is that the shower temperature is tricky to manage. The food is excellent quality and great value for money.
clean and very plesant
I took my granddaughter out for lunch and a catch up. We both ordered our meals they came to us the meals were very well presented, steak done to taste and scampi was perfect.They came and asked if all was ok Yes we said perfect.

Positives Nice and friendly bar maid checked me in Room and bathroom clean Breakfast OK Short walk to station and close to town centre USB sockets in wall plugs Negatives No heating (although there was a plug in heater) The shower (trickle) took 5 minutes to warm up. TV good picture but crackly sound (think it was a reception issue) No shower gel but there was a bar of soap
Afternoon lunch
We had a beautiful roast beef dinner today was stunning never had so meat on a plate like today was so tender was yummy all cooked perfect most enjoyable was a last minute decision so glad we went highly recommend.
