Always a pleasure
This was our fourth stay, and it never disappoints ! We’ve always experienced a warm welcome at reception, whoever is on duty, and there just seems to be a culture of service which is sustained. We were fortunate to get a room upgrade which added to the pleasure, and felt very confident about all the Covid measures in place. Breakfast at a specific time to ensure separation was good and the quality of the served items was considered and efficient, leaving just the hot buffet items to be collected within distancing guidelines. The location is great for sightseeing on foot, and if you haven’t seen Tavira already, it’s a really worthwhile stop on any Algarve, and though we didn’t eat in the hotel for dinner this time, those have been interesting and reliable in the past too.

The building here is steeped in history and has been respectfully adapted to be a comfortable hotel. What differentiates this hotel, though, is the staff. Their welcome, their professionalism and their knowledge is excellent.
Sossego!
Fomos fora de época (outubro) e em plena pandemia Covid mas o sossego e a paz foram o que mais me cativou. A piscina praticamente só para nós... :) A simpatia dos funcionarios eram outro ponto forte. Pequeno-almoço top e com boa organização relativamente à pandemia. Senti-me segura relativamente à limpeza e desinfecção das áreas comuns, vários pontos com alcool-gel.

Muito bem localizado a poucos minutos a pé do centro, edifício histórico renovado muito romântico! Mas sem dúvida o que mais me encantou foi a equipa maravilhosa que nos acolheu de uma forma excepcional: Adorei o atendimento no geral! Não só comigo em particular mas também para com os outros hóspedes! Na recepção destaco a Sra. Ana se não me engano no nome que tem mesmo uma sensibilidade e atenção para o cliente inata. Bem como o rapaz de Lisboa que estava no bar durante a tarde e no restaurante à noite - muito eficiente e sempre com um sorriso "nos olhos"!
