⏰ check in 12.00 check out 12.00 🏔 View 🚵♂️🚶♂️Activities 🅿 Free Parking 🛫 Airport Jolly Grant 85 km 🐾Pets are not allowed 🤷♂Language spoken: English, Hindi I visited this hotel in November 2022 with my wife. We checked in at 11.30 in the morning, and the process was smooth. The resort nestled amidst all-around solitude in Kanatal, a not so popular hill station in Uttarakhand . We booked in a double Delux room with Valley View. Let us now move to the review of facilities and my experience ( Rating has been assigned in a scale of 1 to 5 , 5 being highest):- A. Location : Located in the wilderness , nestled between green pine forest and apple orchards 80 km from Rishikesh. SUV costs Rs. 5000 one way from Jolly Grant. The transfer was smooth. The resort is built in style with curated green open space and has a viewing area to catch a grand view of the majestic Trishul range. (Rating 4.85). B. Room : The double delux room in the ground floor allocated to us was about 200 square feet with a verandah facing lush green pine forest. The room was elegantly furnished with matching fittings, has a large single bed with side tables on both sides, a wardrobe, and a dressing table . Bed was rightly soft and comfy with linens . The room had wooden flooring and clean and have amenities like tea making facility, a separate pantry . Adequate bottles of water are provided, and tea pouches are replaced every day. The toilet is big in size and with a separate changing area. Toilet is fitted with sanitary fitings of acceptable quality and geyser. Toileteries like shampoo pouches and body lotion were provided. The quality of toileteries is standard. The room is airy with a large window. Heaters are provided along with an electric heated mattress. Pillows and quilt provided are very good. Additional pillows and blankets are provided on request. (Rating 4.75) C. Facilities : The resort has all the facilities that you require for a relaxed holiday amidst nature. There is a common sitting area and a common dining hall. They have a well curated lawn with a bonfire area, sitting arrangement with sun umbrella. The bungalow has a large shared living area. Rooms do have satellite TV and WIFI, though the signal is not very strong , being located in a remote area .They have one common dining room, where food can be pre ordered. There is an indoor games and kids' play area. The main attraction is the viewing area from where the view is awesome. Resort arrange tours.(Rating 4.75) D. Dining options: The hotel has a dining room where a reasonable variety of cuisines are served . Food is a home cooked style and gives a choice of Indian, Asian cuisines. You can have your food in the dining room, in-room, or at the lawn. The quality of food is very good and pahadi cuusines are must try out.(Rating 4.75). E. Overall service : The hotel has a very well-behaved team of staff at the reception and also at its housekeeping and dinjbg room. All requests are met immediately with a smile. The manager was very cortiuous and is always available to give the best service to the guests. The owner of the property himself was available during our stay to assist in case of requirements. (Rating 4.75) Overall: Location, solitude, space, and stunning view are the major plus points. There is wifi but very weak and inconsistent, and due to remote location , you also do not get your 4G mobile connection properly. If you are a nature lover and like solitude ....this is the right place for you. (OVERALL RATING 4.75)

we had booked 8 rooms inclusive of the dinner and breakfast but the as the electricity was not available in 4 of the 8 rooms we were staying, the Owner used to stay in the property but surprising there was no one in the night when the electricity went off and the 8 friends had to spend the night in misery. we had booked including dinner but the food portions were so frugal was not sufficient for even 4 of us out of 16 friends. Really disapointed by the response and hospitality,

This place is awesome ! It is situated right on the main road from Chamba to Mussoorie. The ambience greets you when you enter the resort. Right next to the valley shadowing the ice filled peaks, this place has everything you would love if you are on vacation. We were placed in the valley view rooms which are next to the garden. Rooms were clean, well maintained and peaceful. A small balcony to enjoy tea in the morning added to the package. Food - Cannot explain in words. We tried traditional food, continental and desi. Every dish was excellent. Dinesh and Nitin did the favors here. They were literally running to cater to needs of customers. Such is the dedication ! Ranveer guided us with the tours and even managed our late morning demands of cabs. He knows the place well. Bhatia's - the owners are delight to meet. When you are on vacations and your hosts give you company , it turns out to be a soulful and memorable trip. This resort has handpicked planters , chutneys and jams. You can see those minute details that give beauty to the place, all thanks to the hosts. The latest edition to the resort is Chutki - who is learning to hunt. Beware of her and she might woo you up ! Do visit if you are food lover and love nature. It is not a commercial hotel but a soulful place ! Thanks for entertaining us !

Horrible Beyond Words

This is by far one of the worst properties I have stayed in. The owners are rude and arrogant with misleading pictures uploaded everywhere. The service is beyond terrible. Don’t even expect basic amenities at this hotel. During our stay there was no water, with pathetic food. I would seriously never recommend anyone to book this hotel.

Ok place, below expectation. Food was good, open areas have a nice feel and are welcoming, staff is well behaved. Location is bang on the Chamba Mussoorie road. Despite balcony being an inclusion in the booking, got a room with no balcony - the closest there was to a balcony was a outside lobby full of water dispenser and chairs and fully covered with glass panels overlooking the road. Very limited parking space - only 4 cars. Room was a two side window room woth curtains and blinds that juat do not cover they are non functional or do not slide, bathroom was similar and I requested curtain adjustment to cover. The hand soap does not foam and is all broken, the towels are torn. The owners are very warm and welcoming though a tad bit defensive from the word go. Note to add - be prepared for random rules like these - xyz price for losing a key. I wouldn’t mind paying whatever the resort thought was fit if I lost a key, but ironically I also had the only room which did not have a door lock but an old fashioned near breakdown bolt n lock. If customers are penalised, only fair locks are also fixed.
