The above title says it all really. A 3* apartment with a 5* view! You couldn't fault the location of the apartment but the apartment itself was pretty basic. If you're wanting 'no frills' accommodation at a premium price then this is it! Furnishings a bit dated and bland. The bathrooms were in dire need of a refit. The kitchen was lovely but the instructions for the microwave were obviously for a model which has been replaced and we couldn't work out how to use it! The one thing I can say though is that it was very clean - though it should have been as I did get charged an extra £18 for cleaning! Overall I'd say it was very expensive for the facilities offered. For the price I would have expected the basics to have been provided - this includes soap in the bathrooms. I think they were taking 'self catering' far too literally!!

I have visited here six times now and I’m never disappointed. I have stayed in all apartments except four. They are all nice but penthouse five is the best. The balconies are just lovely and the apartments are super clean and very well equipped. The location is great for the wonderful den and pier. We are a bit ancient now but we spent our summers on the back beach where our grandmother had a house so it has become a pilgrimage for us. You are on the doorstep of local shops, pubs and eateries and a theatre. Dog heaven on the den! Sadly, the apartments do not accept dogs except helping dogs. There is a lift but several of the apartments have a private set of steps so not easily accessible for all. The cleaning girls are so lovely and helpful but discreet too. Beds are divine and you have a full kitchen if self catering. It is not cheap so save up!

Booked this place, penthouse no.2 for a romantic getaway & was not disappointed.....it was truly amazing, Spotlessly clean, modern,chic, wonderful views, great location...... fantastic communication with the booking team,....just about faultless.... will definitely book again..

Everything about this stay is wonderful. Emma is a delight to book with and goes that extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect. The apartments ( yes, we have been a few times now) are large, comfortable and immaculate. It really doesn’t matter what the weather is like when you’re faced with views that stretch for miles and how lovely to walk into the apartment to a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The ‘domestic goddesses’ that keep these apartments so clean, are also friendly and jolly just adding to the many reasons to keep coming back… which we undoubtedly will.

After a four year gap, what a joy to stay in the best self catering accommodation in Teignmouth once again - still spotlessly clean and the same superb standard throughout. The sunsets along the river Teign up to Dartmoor are simply stunning from the penthouses
