Aromet Motor Inn

This is the first time we've been able to book into this motel, to attend a Temora aviation museum airshow, as the motel is usually booked out with air show staff. We were pleased with the care and cleanliness of our room, given the current COVID restrictions, and stayed for three nights. Our room had a double and single bed, so some maneuvering was required, but we were pleased to find three chairs and a small dining table, a large flat screen TV with free Netflix to view, and best of all, a largish bar fridge with a freezer section that worked (compared to every other motel where the freezer section doesn't work). The microwave oven was larger than expected, able to take instant meals from Woolworths to heat up for dinner. The kettle and toaster, tea/coffee and coffee cups and spoons were appreciated, though one should BYO cutlery and crockery if you want to eat any meals in your room. During COVID, our room was serviced daily (making the bed, refilling milk portions in the fridge, more biscuits, tea/coffee and bathroom supplies, and emptying bins). We didn't need towels changed and appreciated not being 'over serviced'. A free car park right outside our door is always good when unpacking the car. Sure the motel is on a major road with heavy trucks passing through, but most of the other motels are likewise situated. We'll stay here for sure next time (if we can get in!).

The Aromet Motor Inn shows as a 4 star motel on most booking sites and has the highest rating in Temora. I'm not sure why it'd have a high rating or any more than 2. 5 stars! As I walked in to the room I notice a bad musty smell. The walls are badly cracked and the carpet is filthy (I noticed another review a few years ago complaining about this too). The toilet is mouldy and the seat is yellowing. The doors have no sound proofing so you can clearly hear & smell the neighbours out chatting and smoking. The air conditioner works well and the ceiling fan does circulate the air well. The free WiFi is nice and fast but I'm really glad I bought thongs and feel like going down the road to use the public toilet. The shower is hot & powerful and very roomy which is a plus. The bed was actually quite comfortable too. The free continental breakfast is also a nice touch

Stayed 11-12 October good old friendly motel lovely hosts, good size room and bathroom the bed was very comfy just needs bigger pillows and say a 32in TV would be good be able to watch properly, WiFi was good first night but after that couldn't get it. Close to town centre, bit noisy close to main road but with double glazing on windows would fix that, aircon a bit noisy.

The so called renovated room had carpet so filthy and stained I would not let my dog sleep on it. The so called renovation looked like something a two bob handyman would have done. Just don't waste your money staying here. I have never stayed in a room in such poor condition in all my life.

Sorry But you are too close to the highway noise is unacceptable Room has microwave and toaster but no cutlery and crockery this was readily supplied on request Room was clean and comfy just relaxing just needs upgrading.
