I Faraglioni

Very nice B&B, clean room, effective aircond which is a must at night for someone coming from north parts of Europe. Super friendly owners that works in the phone store down stairs (wind) so easy to get in touch with any time during the day! Breakfast voucher provides for a Cafe up the street so you can have coffee and a croissant. Very pleased with the place, the cleanliness (better then the hotels I visited in the area) and position in terrasini. Highly recommended and I will be back!

Came across this B&b when my husband and I were looking to stay close to the Palermo airport for our trip home to NY, USA....wish we could stay longer! A modern comfy room, AC, fridge in room, large private bathroom/shower, toiletries, shared kitchen, voucher for breakfast at a cafe up the block. Easy walk to the small beach at the end of the block, or head in the other direction up towards the piazza for shopping and restaurants. We had a lovely glass of Sicilian wine and snacks at I Leoni in the piazza; then ventured slightly further up and away from the action to enjoy a meal at Ciavuru. All minutes of walking away from the lovely b&b!

We stayed in this place one night and the owners were super friendly. We had to call twice because we got delayed at the airport, due to the queue at the car rental but there were no problems for them. The room was very big, very clean and really welcoming. Highly reccomended.

We stayed here prior to an early flight out of Palermo airport. A lucky choice. Incomprehensible one way road system was a bit of a challenge but worth it. I Faraglioni is in an unremarkable building but there was plenty of parking on the street outside. Our room, on the ground floor, was big, cool, clean and equipped with a fridge, TV and wifi. The bathroom was a good size. As is often the case (certainly in Italy!) the wifi was not working when we arrived. But even though it was Sunday, our hosts on hand to greet us, got it sorted very soon. Terrasini is a pleasant little town with lots of places to eat in and around a good sized square. There is a small sandy beach well within walking distance (sea not especially clean!) and a large street market (I'm not sure if it operates every day). There are balconies for upstairs rooms, which probably have a bit of a view, but I don't know if they are part of I Faraglioni. Summary: I Faraglioni is definitely worth considering, especially if they have upstairs rooms with balconies.

As others have said the most friendly hotel imaginable if not all that luxurious! The property is only 15-20 mins drive from Palermo airport though difficult to find due to Terrasini's bizarre one way traffic system. There was no sea view though the sea was at the bottom of the street and Terrasini is a slightly run down little town with a selection of restaurants just a short walk away. Maragarita, the landlady, who works and lives across the road is charming and helpful- she even gave my husband a lift in her car to show him how to get to the location when we had given up and made our way there on foot! The room we had was large with good ensuite shower and air con. There was a fridge in the room also a kitchen at our disposal with even a kettle and a washing machine should we have needed them. The room had free wifi as well as a large flat screen TV. Breakfast is provided in the Cafe del Duomo on the central square and is just a coffee and croissant or danish but both were very good! Perfect for a one night stay en route to or from the airport and I'm sure that if we visit Sicily agan this will be our first port of call. Grazie tanto Margarita!
