Change of location
We have stayed at the premiere classe hotel in Reims in many occasions before. We recently booked it for an overnight stop. When we arrived at the hotel we found that it had changed ownership to formula 1 hotel and that our hotel had moved to another location. There were no road signs to show where it had moved to. I had to phone the hotel. The hotel is now located on an industrial estate behind the Kyriad. It isn’t a new hotel but a refurbished small hotel. Our room was clean and freshly painted and the bathroom had a new shower and toilet which worked ok. The hotel is very basic - no carpets in the foyer or on the stairs or corridors which makes it noisy. I have to be honest it did make me think of a prison block. We also were concerned that the car park was not secure and were nervous about leaving our car there overnight. There are a number of hotels in the area in better locations at similar prices so I think it is unlikely that we will stay there again
Should not be an hotel!
Rude staff who treat you with no respect and if you sit in the only place where you can have a drink talking with your friends, due to no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms the staff scream at you to shut up and go to your room. No lounge/bar and breakfast area looks like 1960's works canteen.. Small inadequate rooms, toilet wash basin and shower obviously robbed from old caravans, definitely no thought gone into it at all. Most certainly the worst place I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. One night was one night too many! NEVER AGAIN
What a dump
Well what can I say about this dump? Think about faulty towers and triple it’s badness! The staff are just blantantly rude, Jesus is the worst! The rooms are too small for one bed let alone two, you can’t get into the bathroom without hitting your head on the water thing above the toilet and/or hitting the bed with the door! Very little space to hang your clothes and god forbid if you have a suitcase there is certainly no room for that! It’s extremely noisy particularly around breakfast time! If you are forced to stay here don’t accept room 1 as that is the noisiest! I wouldn’t wish this hotel on my worst enemy! Particularly ridiculous as there are many more reasonable hotels within walking distance that are in the same price band! I would love to give them no stars at all as there are absolutely no redeeming features about this hell hole but it doesn’t want to let me! Avoid like the plague! Should be done under trades description as certainly not premiere class!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Absolutely shocking behaviour from the staff, the receptionist (with a ‘Jesus’ tattoo on his neck) was snotty and rude when we asked a simple question and when he thought we couldn’t hear he muttered something about ‘stupid english’ in french under his breath. Rooms absolutely tiny and bathrooms in bad condition. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.
Perfect location for an overnight layover
Location is everything here. Expect basic accommodation, you get what you pay for and st these prices the fact that the bed is clean and comfortable delivers. Caution though, it’s quite noisy- walls are really thin and you hear every noisy from the corridors etc. Would stay again though just for the convenience.
