More about the hotel
Best location, clean, nicest people!!
The pousada is located on the main square. When you look at it from the street, you have no idea how big it is inside. They have a pool, an indoor pool, 38 rooms (all with nice decorations). The place is very clean, the breakfast is all with homemade stuff and every person that work there is very very pleasant! Interestingly, all the guests were equaly nice and considerate (lucky weekend or the standard?). The downside: parking is across the street (not bad), rooms facing square are noisy, bathroom is small. I will definetely stay there again!
Perfect location but lacked maintenance
The location is perfect and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. However, the Pousada's cleanliness wasn't up to spec. There were a few dead cockroaches on the external area in the morning (which alone was bad enough) and it took a good few hours for someone to get rid of them. The swimming pool was also dirty.
I travelled to Tiradentes to participate of The Culture and Gastronimic Festival
The location of hotel is in front of the main Square where Festival was happening. Rooms are nice and very quiet. The breakfast of hotel is very good with kind of local meals like cakes, Minas cheese, Cheese bread etc.
Not a great choice
This pousada is very well located right on the main town square. The front of the building and the reception area is very nice and enticing, The outdoor areas are very nice but the rooms are simple. The rooms and small and simple. The wifi was free but so slow is was next to useless. I should point out that it was quiet when we stayed as it was midweek and the town was very quiet. So if the pousada was busy the wifi could grind to a halt. The car park was located behind a shop in the town square, but not next to the hotel. I felt dubious about the security but should add that nothing happened to our car or its contents. The outdoor pool looked clean but it was too cold to swim in when we were there. The outdoor spa was heated but filthy. The indoor pool was also heated but was dirty. Breakfast was a typical brazilian selection with watered down juices. Other options around the town square
good location, sinmple rooms
The hotel is situated in the centre of Tiradentes, with all the pubs, restaurants and sights nearby. Our room, at the front of the building, was simple and spare. Being European we sadly missed central heating: it was only 9 degrees celsius. The square facingthe hotel is crowded and noisy duringthe daytime, but after 23.00 everything is very quiet, fortunately. What we did not like: -no English speaking staff -on the second day of our stay beds were not made and the bathroom had not been cleaned
