Very quiet, gracious hotel. The food is superb and each room looks out over the Pacific. The meals were stupendous with a bunch of raw fish as well as food you cooked in your little individual pot. Great for a couple of days. It's not near anything, so you need cab or vehicle. High on a hill.

Had a private room in the newly refurbished dining room. Ambience was perfect. The kaiseki was another level. From Ise Lobster, abalone, fresh octopus to Matsusaka Beef. Each course was expertly prepared to the highest quality. This meal has really left an impression!

We stayed in this hotel in March 2016 which was recommended by a friend. We went here straight from the airport and took their hotel shuttle. Great hospitality, excellent food and particularly, I love the open bath in our room with a spectacular view.

This is a traditional Japanese style hotel. Staff are warm and courteous. The service is not excessive, making us comfortable and feel much at home. The room is spacious with a dressing area. The ocean view is superb. It was lovely having complimentary Japanese tea and snacks in the room after a day out. Both dinner and breakfast were fabulous. We appreciated the free shuttle bus service taking guests from the hotel to the train & bus station. A pleasant and impressive experience. Will stay in this hotel again when coming back to Toba in a future visit.

Stayed in Toba view for 2 nights, was made to feel right at home from the moment we got off the coach. The hospitality is on another level, everything was efficient and even pre-emptive! Staff would bend over backwards for us if they could and do so with a smile. A real sense of culture in the rooms. The view are particularly breathtaking, especially during sunrise. I'd have to recommend the outdoor onsen which was superb, the contrast of hot and cold is very relaxing. The food from the outstanding Chef was unforgettable, presentation, imagination, taste, all the senses were pleasured in one plate! Come here if you want to see the real Japan, I preferred Toba over the bigger cities. Cannot wait to come back!
