A great place to stop over
A great hotel which certainly provides facilities. A pity much were reduced due to virus. Room was very good, clean and well equipped with magnificent views of Toledo. The Reception staff were excellent in both English and advice. The dinner was very good but an English Menu would have been very helpful. The waiter we had, though very thoughtful, was a bit too quick in removing plates. It looked as though he wanted to leave early. We enjoyed good food quality though and the Breakfast was good. The atmosphere sadly was low because of the lack of other people about. This hotel is very well placed for a quick taxi into Toledo. We would certainly visit again without doubt
Pool is a bonus
We stayed a week here booked as unsure due to Covid and wanted a pool. The staff are pleasant and the rooms quite spacious, some areas of hotel seem a little outdated. The hotel is only running a limited service so not everything is available eg there is nowhere to get a drink during the pool closure hour( pool closes daily at 2.30) the pool area is very nice and precautions are evident. The male pool attendant is very professional, friendly and efficient. The pool is nice and with only a few guests was manageable, I think if the hotel was at full capacity it would be different matter. Breakfast is a buffet service and can be a bit bland, some food ran out quickly and not always replenished. Didn’t eat in the cafeteria at other times and the other restaurant was closed. The hotel is quite a distance from Toledo and a taxi is around €8 each way. There are some restaurants a short walk away which are good.
Beautiful stay
The hotel is situated just outside the town, which is good as we do not like crowded places. The room was big with a nice balcony. The bathroom a little bit outdated, but OK. The staff is really friendly and are ready to answer any questions. We also could stay after the check-out in the pool or go sightseeing , leaving our luggage in the hotel's luggage halt. This is very handy. We booked a half-board option. The food was generally very good, except from some dishes (shrimps on the salad bar and meat) that were really salty, the rest was tasty and at the right temperature. At breakfast you can compose your own fresh juice from different option available which we found really nice. In the evenings, there is an entertaining programme for kids with face painting, music etc. Overall - we enjoyed it and definitely recommend it!
Far from down town, nothing special
We payed full priced for this average hotel that didn't include breakfast, plain and nothing remarkable, Mattress were cheap foam. In our way back for the same priced we stayed at a fine luxurious placed. So look for other options in Toledo.
Spacious room
I only stayed one night, but enjoyed the big room. The breakfast was offering some choices of ham, cheese, bread etc. There was plenty of space so it didn't get crowded. The staff were friendly. Everything was tidy and clean.
