Overbooked Even With GUARANTEED Reservation
Reviewed 28 november, 2021
Great property, but beware… I had guaranteed my reservation and just a few hours prior to leaving for Tomah, I received a call that they overbooked and needed to move me to another hotel. They said it didn’t matter that my reservation was guaranteed, so what’s the point? The whole reason for us staying there was so that a group of kids and their families that were in town for a sporting event could stay together and the kids could enjoy their time together, swimming, etc., not be separated by staying at a hotel in another part of town. I told them this wasn’t an option. I showed up right at 3:00 for check in and miraculously got a room.
Budget hotel pretending to be a Hampton

At some point this hotel was nice. But the management is cutting so many corners it feels more like a budget hotel but at a Hampton price. They’ve cut back cleaning to twice a week, but don’t expect it to be properly cleaned or restocked. And don’t expect your sheets and towels to match, they clearly came from different sets and were mixed together. The internet was down for almost half my stay, and the staff couldn’t care less. Good luck getting the heat to work - the units are so old they cut out and start blowing cold air. And none of the staff bother wearing masks.
Expensive for the area

We had 5 military Hilton Honor members with our party. The hotel was unable to give us the military rate and we had to check into a neighboring hotel. The young lady, Jennifer wasn’t the friendliest person when we discussing the issue.

Best customer service! Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Staff go way out of their way to treat you like family. Perfect location. Near Hwy, restaurants and shopping. Special parking for Diamond members.
It was okay

I stopped by during a road trip from Seattle to VA. The hotel was located on the way and I needed a place to stay. The building is old, rooms are dated, breakfast was below average, and the ac was loud. I felt the price was way too high for what you get. Having said that, the staff were friendly and helpful.
