Worst ever
Reviewed 20 august, 2020
This was the worst place I ever stayed in. I paid for wi-fi no wi-fi. I paid for breakfast no breakfast. The staff? let's not go there, OK I will they were the worst human beings ever I had to put up with. I should've booked me a place at Manchester Zoo in the gorilla cage it would have been cleaner there and the gorillas would've been more helpful. Finally the price isn't what is QUOTED 4 nights cost me £349.65

Not as bad as some reviews

Stayed here for two night at the start of February the rooms were clean had a very good breakfast and found the bar and housekeeping staff very friendly also the night manager was very helpful hotel does have lots of long term guests but the major down side to our stay was the young lady on reception who was so unfriendly and found even passing your room key as a massive inconvenience

Quality has dropped at this hotel
Reviewed 2 december, 2019
I have stayed at this hotel for a very long time, and over the last 2 years the quality has dropped. Last week during my stay the bar staff we not friendly at all, and to be honest I was the only one in the bar!! I begged the question WHY? The room was ok, but the kettle had a price tag of £3.00 which was probably bought at a car boot sale, and the toilet Sistine didn’t work at all. I had to use the kettle to flush the toilet. This could be a good hotel once again if the management looked after it.

The furniture room was falling to pieces, the shower was too hot, also the glass in the shower was cracked and the windows of the room were screwed shut so i didn't get any air in my room and it was extremely hot. No tv was provided or kettle, the wifi was also shocking. The staff spoke to me like i was a piece of dirt and i was shouted at for getting toilet roll from the bathroom downstairs because i ran out. The reception lady said how dare i without asking her even though i am a paying customer. She is extremely rude and has a very bad attitude and rolls her eyes when you ask questions as if she think's your stupid. Some staff were nice and the cleaners were nice. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

A nice friendly hotel

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis as it’s convenient to Old Trafford and the City Centre of Manchester. Public transport is really good and just a stone throw away from the hotel. There is free car parking on site, and very near the town centre of Sale. The staff are very friendly and the bar is very reasonably priced. I would highly recommended this hotel.
