More than 1 month ago my sister, with her husband and 2 children, was staying at the hotel Ibis Paris CDG Airport. By the receptionthe there are small but very heavy tables. Her son of 2 years old only, was playing by these tables and the table top was falling on the leg of the child. This table part is movable and not stable. The son of my sister was getting a broken leg, which was treated by the Emergency in Grenoble, where they travelled afterwards. These small tables in the hotel are very dangerous, because the table top can fall out. I have contact the hotel about this incident, however I did not received any replay from the hotel.

I booked a 2 night stay to arrive Monday evening 2nd May and check out Wednesday morning 4th May. On 3 different occasions I called the front desk requesting a high room facing towards Terminal 2. My last call was dealt with by Sebastian. he was quite helpful and assured me he would allocate room 1017 and if I did not like it, I could change it on arrival On arrival I expected to be allocated the room that I was told I would receive, however the front desk allocated room 2327, which was on the 3rd floor, with no view as I requested, in fact we could not even see Terminal 2 because of the hotel we were in. No effort at all was made to accommodate a room type / location that I had requested The cost of one room for 2 nights was €335.00 On the first evening, I used one of the vending machines in the lobby for a coke. The amount displayed showed it was €3 but on using my debit card, a €5 charge was deducted. Due to Covid, I wore a mask all the time, however I was shocked to notice that most of the sanitizer dispensers were empty for the duration of our stay including the dispensers in the elevators In the room, we had issues with some of the plugs not working, in fact all were loose in the walls, meaning we were unable to charge our mobile phones or use a laptop One good point was the breakfast each morning, it was not bad

The main problem is lack of air. Windows are locked shut. Aircon will not operate. Room is small. Shower bleeds water over the floor. Breakfast is good . Hotel is convenient right next to bus station and on the CDGVAL which is the free shuttle to the airport and car park. If there are two of you make sure to ask for two keycards as you need one to take the lift and get into the room. I.e if one stays for more tea or coffee they cannot access the elevator to get to room.

Location very good, nice looby, rooms very clean, for one night close to airport thats what someone needs. It is very close to the shuttle station which make all the travel there and back very comfortable

We stayed at this hotel since we had 14 hours layover between flights. We were so tired by the time we got to this hotel but hotel staff welcomed us with smile, which made us feel better! We didn't have enough time and energy to go find a restaurant for dinner, so we decided to try their buffet style restaurant. It was 20 euro for each person, but staff were so friendly and we had a great time! We also got a great view from our room, but they only have 2 in 1 soap(conditioner was not provided ), towels, and hair dryer as amenities, but the room was still neat!
