POOR EXPERIENCE!!!
Every year my family and i take a Christmas vacation to rest, reflect and enjoy the Tobago Paradise but our experience at Blue Water Inn made it a challenge. We paid almost 10k for their all inclusive package which was extremely limited and deficient BTW.. so for breakfast if you want bacon and eggs you can only get one or the other, but then what is the definition of all inclusive if guests are limited? For dinner the chef only paid attention to certain guests and it felt like we were begging for a little TLC in the Food/ Drink department. I had to literally ask for water during our stay cause it would seem no one is paying attention to the all inclusive guests and their well being. I will say the staff are very well mannered and pleasant and they looked like they are doing the best with their limited resources because they value their jobs but the managers and whomever is in charge needs to ensure that their ALL inclusive guests are treated better for the money they are putting forward. BWI take a look at inefficiencies because this will hurt your business. A failing customer ratings/ customer experience is not looking good for you.. step it up! Best of luck!
Nice location, horrible maintenance
I visited with my wife, the beach a beautiful, really nice location and it ends there. The room wasn’t cleaned it was dusty and the door knob was falling apart. luckily i had a case of water in the car or we may have not gotten any water to drink in the room. the beautiful jetty in their pictures, its in a mess planks missing its a hazard waiting to happen a lot of the furniture in and around the resort is covered in bird poop, and its dried and u can tell that it hasn’t been cleaned for a while, they used covid as an excuse for lack of cleaning, but if u are still running a resort you need to keep it clean for people who came to use it, cleaning will even further help fight against covid, so thats a poor excuse u are supposed to he cleaning more than before you guys seemed to have gone to a clean less approach. and lets not even talk about the bed sheets, idk if it was a sheet or a doily from someone’s granny table or what it was But it was hard and uncomfortable. and their breakfast menu is limited and of the listing you are told to choose one item only (picture attached) for a hotel with this price i would expect a proper walk thru breakfast when i have select what i want in what ever combinations i want, the waiting staff also seem to keep forgetting that u need utensils to eat with. And i see that management has been on here apologizing since 2019, thats a year of apologies and still no improvement, thats sad.
Honeymoon
My husband and I spent a couple days here in November for our honeymoon. It was just us and 2 other couples staying at the inn. Pros: - beautiful, serene location with a lovely beach right outside your room door. - Good (but limited) breakfast Cons: - I understand no cleaning of the rooms being done due to COVID-19 but not once once did they think to ask guests if they needed extra toiletries or towels. - The food at the restaurant was the same every night (grilled chicken, grilled fish, burgers, fries m). There was no variety. The bar was open but only one night we got mixed drinks. - No consideration for couples on their honeymoon. My husband wanted some champagne and flowers in the room as a mini surprise for me but nothing of the sort was done. The girl at the front desk told him we’d have to wait an extra 30 mins if we wanted the room decorated but after that long drive we couldn’t be assed. - Ants infestation in the room. We couldn’t leave food on the counter for more than 10 mins. Also, I truly believe that if amenities are being removed from the rooms then you shouldn’t be charging full price.
My Honeymoon experience
I must admit, I fully enjoy my visit at BLUE WATERS INN. The drive to get to the residence is fantastic especially seeing the coastlines. NO B.S the staff are very friendly, I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere, the private settings are awesome. The fact that we can cook and have romantic dinner while we watch the ocean waves feeling the cool breeze is just majestic.😐💯😍 My wife and I stayed our entire time when everybody else was leaving due to the covid pandemic border lockdown. I love it when the birds came to visit in the veranda😄😄😄😄 But the peace that I felt there...I literally didn't want to leave. The only small issue is the wifi lag sometimes lol Overall I'd recommend the hotel to those who want a proper private setting. 😐💯😁😁😁😁
