We had a fantastic experience at Be Tulum. It was a pricey hotel but worth the money! The property is gorgeous, the beach was absolutely beautiful, and the service was excellent (especially Abraham Celso). Highly recommend!
Overpriced and does not deliver

Nice property but way too many shortcomings. Completely uninterested and unwelcoming front desk staff, that also consistently ignores emails. Failure to greet guests (at all times). Just acts uninterested in providing service. Restaurant staff is better. Beach restaurant has decent food. Main negative is wine list, that lacks normal selection of wines. Instead you get overpriced $170 bottle of $15 whispering angel (no local wine like Casa Madero offered). Overall wine list selection is one of the worst I have seen in any property. Room is nicely designed but lighting is too dim/not functional. Also lack of Nespresso or equivalent (any) coffee maker in $1,000+ per night room is below standard. Lot of instances of substandard service were experienced. Given all of the above and in light of paying around $1,200 per night this property falls way short on most fronts when compared to other properties in this range that I stayed in.

We thoroughly enjoyed Tulum. We loved staying in Aldea Zama, but Be Tulum was our favorite! We actually wasted money staying a night at Casa Malca….no kids? Stay at Be Tulum! It is 21 and older only. There are rooms with your own private swim up pool. The place is on the beach, but in the jungle! It is such a gorgeous environment!!!! There are no tv’s or radio’s so you really unplug and get connect with your partner or self reflect. They do offer Tantric Sex Classes, meditation & yoga, heeling ceremonies, and so many things you can do other than enjoy the beach, drink, live music, and shop. We ate at the restaurant on the beach bec the one off the street is mainly seafood. You really will enjoy your stay!
Loved our stay, Emmanuel was great!

As a frequent traveler to Tulum this review pains me to write as I haven’t had not one bad experience until today.. I googled Be Tulum to try a different beach club since visiting so much I’ve been to all the popular places like Taboo , La Zebra , Coco etc. I reviewed the comments on Be Tulum and decided to give it a shot.. my check in experience was good the hostess was friendly and stated that it was $80.00 pp usd for the beach club .. obviously the consumption was not a big deal since you’re bound to consume that anyway at any beach club… waiter was great in tne beginning but they must have been short staffed as throughout our experience we had to look for him to request for drinks and food.. the first round of food was great .. shrimp tacos , quac and ceviche but when our second round of food showed up it was cold and lacking of flavor , we ordered the rib eye tacos and shrimp skewers.. the drinks were sub par I ordered about 3 margaritas and they came watered down like they were sitting at the bar for a while before delivery.. overall it was an okay experience considering the minimum payment for consumption .. there’s way better places to go with less consumption and more elevated experience
