Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal
We had amazing service before we even arrived! I communicated thru email because we had a group of 18 of us, and we had 10 children ages 7-18, so we had a few details to work out. The staff were SUPER helpful and we had a lot finalized before we even arrived! We upgraded our rooms to “ocean view” and it was AMAZING! I included some pictures that were taken from our room, the view was gorgeous! The stay was definitely a vacation! They cater to your every need. Viktor, Delmar, Gygi, Valentino and staff were all so entertaining with the teenagers! They played volleyball, pool games and laughed and teased to keep everyone having a good time. The shows at night were also amazing and it was something different every night we were there! The meals were great and we ate at the buffets a lot. The servers there were always so friendly and quick to bring whatever drink we ordered! We also had access to the sister resorts, so we hopped over to the Tulum resort a few times. It’s newly renovated and all so nice and new. They have a daily dolphin show that’s fun to watch at no charge, and some fun water parks, eating options and beach areas. It was like getting a “2 for 1” deal ;) So DEFINITELY a GREAT place to stay and 5 stars from us! We hope to be back soon!
Fantastic Staff All Around
We have been to this resort family 3 times now. The last two times we stayed at Tulum but wanted to try Akumal this time since it's the luxury side and offers a few things Tulum doesn't. We had an incredible time. During COVID everything was kept very clean, chairs at pool and beach were spread apart. Restaurants were clean and spaced. We felt safe the entire time. Our room butler, Jose Alfredo, was the best! He truly went above and beyond in every way. We stayed in Villa 83 which is adult only and right near the beach and infinity pool. Easy access to everything we needed. We will be back here for sure!

From the time we arrived the service was supurb. Check in and delivery of the bags to our room was probably the fastest we had on any vacation. The room was really nice and roomy. Kind of a ocean view, but didn't matter because out of the front was the infinity pool and the ocean. Dining options where buffet or sit down dinners. Both are better than most all inclusives I've been to. Restraunts need to be booked early in your trip. Not all are open every night because of staffing and covid. Staff everywhere is very helpful and polite. Special thanks to Alma, Eglayde and many others at the buffet. Bar staff work very hard. The entertainment staff was exceptional. Valentino, Jackie, Gigi, Edquardo and 5 star Delmar. They made every effort to correct any issues you may have anywhere in the resort. Shows where much better than I expected. We would definetly vacation there again and recommend the resort. Great job everyone.
Amazing
My first time coming here and I had a blast moment . Everybody is friendly and makes you feel welcome. I want to say a few people made my experience great there . Amazing waitress for Wendy from Sports Bar , Dair and Arkangel from the beach were just the sweetest guys , I highly recommend this place and the employees there are in another level with their customer service ...
Amazing!!
This place is perfect. I highly recommend everything about it, the food was the best the dinners the buffets. The cheft Valerio is the absolute best. The views are amazin. The staff they went beyond to make our stay perfect. Wendy the waitress , Luis El Cubano,Arcangel the bartender and Dair and the best workers. Christian the dj was good the people at the snack bar the sports bar the Mexican show was perfect. As soon as we left we’re already planning our next trip back and it will be at akumal. Absolutely perfect
