Scam
Scam The advert says each room comes with a private bathroom but this is not the case. The hotel emails you immediately afterwards to tell you that you do not have a private bathroom but then offers to upgrade you for £30 extra. They will refuse to refund your booking if you complain. A complete joke.
Stay away!
Windows to the tower : Amazing location, everything could have been amazing if only the hotel did not decide to cancel my reservation with no explanation, results i went to the hotel, and i find out that there was no consierge and we had to go to a different facility in order to check in.... Once i got to the different place, (hotel francesco) the receptionist told ne that our booking was cancelled due wrong details on my credit card. In fact the day before i have got a warning e mail from booking saying that i had to modify or add a new card. Once done, i recieved another mail, saying that my datails were updated and the hotel will double checl again... To make sure that were no miss understanding i decided to call the hotel to the number provided from booking ( +39 050 866 7157) i called 5 times between the day before and the day of the arrival, NO BODY EVER pick up the phone, then insent a message cross the application to try to communicate with the owner/ manager to be sure that everything was ok, no one replied.. As results i have been in Pisa with no room booked and the guy from reception ( that was really polite and professional offered me to provide us a different room in them hotel) he explained to us that the management is not the same and the hotel francesco is just providing the service of reception. At the end we left from Pisa, the room that i have been offered was double price of the room that we supposed to have and we took our luggage and left. Now just to make the point. A facility / business that provide phone numbers and e mail address and no reply to the customer should not be allowed to work with people. In my opinion this is not acceptable. I would suggest you to book different place for your stay, in real hotels, and deal with professionist... Be aware that those people are not raccomendable at all. Now I am courius to see if, they will reply to ny comment... Magic happen all the time! Have a nice day. And sorry for the long writing, but feedback are really important in order to improve! Sympatico!Unico problema il parking.La macchina si lascia sulla strada....(gratis) Sympatic.Tje Orly problem is the parking.U have to park on public street(free)!! Inform the hotel about your entrance with car in the Historical center or else u pay trafic violation ticket!!
extremely bad experience
Avoid this B&B. We made a booking. One hour after the reservation we discovered a mistake in the date. Instead of 19/26 October we made a reservation for 26/27 October. We informed the B&B right after this discovery, in order to change the dates. We mailed, tried to contact the manager, but to no avail. We did not get any reaction besides the collection of the money on October 18.
A great central location.
This B&B was literally about 100m from the tower and in such a perfect location, being on the main busy street, full of restaurants. The accommodation itself was a little quirky as we had to enter our room via the communal kitchen, but it was clean and comfortable. When we arrived at Pisa main station we took a taxi to the B&B but some locals made us aware of a train station within walking distance of the tower. We used this station when traveling to Luca and I would recommend finding out about it.
