Low Quality Inn needs lots of work

Exterior is well kept. Front desk help is marginal. The room is badly in need of update. The carpets are filthy, the desk chair looked like someone had taken a razor blade to the seat. I called the front desk and was told most the the chairs are in the same condition and they are slowly trying to replace them. I insisted they replace mine that day, they did begrudingly. the veneer on the desk has been ripped off, the cabinent where the microwave sits is badly scratched. The wood frame around the mirror is scratched down to bare wood. I told the front desk at checkout the room was badly in need of an update. I was told they are doing they can as the management/owner allows. We were with a group of 50 from a car club. We won't be staying there again. No rugs down between pool and elevators so there is a constant trail of water on the floor. The wood frame

You get what you pay for with a two star but even that should not provide chairs that are crumbling, grimy feeling and required throwing a sheet over in order to just sit down. Mediocre breakfast with the worst coffee ever.

Not up to "Quality"

Disappointed! Desk staff seemed under trained. Took too long to check in. They have two buildings, clearly two separate hotels at one time. I got building"B", what appeared to be the inferior of the two. Room was not well cleaned. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke from the smoking rooms down the hall. Side security door did not lock. Can't recommend and probably would not stay here again.

The hotel is split between two building. We were in the building without the reception desk. We were surprised that the outside door to this building had its lock broken and anyone could walk in. There was a strong smell of smoking in the building, yet we were in a none smoking room. The room did not smell of smoking. According to reception they knew about the outside lock and smoke was because the top floor of the building were the smoking rooms. The front desk staff were really helpful and explained the situation. They went out of their way. The breakfast was really good compared to many. Lots of choice and the hot section was regularly restocked. This hotel was clearly the place for the construction staff in the area. There were plenty of trucks and guests dressed for a hard day's construction work. I had a great peaceful night's sleep and will say here again.

OK at best, but priced accordingly.

The bed was very good. The shower was okay. The chairs were extremely worn out. Breakfast was so so. Now I see why we had to prepay with a no refund policy. Might stay there again but never more than one night. Good basic room, but nothing worth writing home about.
