Queensland finally
This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and would stay again if we were up that way. So serene and peaceful. Seeing the animals in their natural state just added to the wonderful atmosphere. The staff are lovely and helpful and its all very close to town and the beachfront. I would heartily recommend this wonderful resort
Serenity
Love staying here. Our cabin is always spotless, with all mod cons. The lake and wildlife are a pleasant distraction from the usual reading or watching TV. We have stayed here 3 times, and intend to keep doing so.
Extremely Impressed
What a treasure of a find , this place is superb, not only in its tranquil setting but in every aspect. We had a clean cabin situated on the lakes edge with nature surrounding us and the turtles were great visitors and trees with an abundance of birds . Sitting on the deck overlooking the lake and all the wildlife calls made for a relaxing time . The hosts were obliging in all ways and were genuinely friendly and great conversationalists . We highly recommend a visit 😀🍺❤️
Tranquility
Individual cabins surround a lake. Numerous water birds on the lake and parrots and kookaburras in the trees. Cabins well appointed - some have been refurbished and others are due for the same treatment. Close to the beach and restaurants. A tranquil spot to stay.
What a load of bird poo!
Our cabin was a shocker, the entry to front door was across a splattering of bird poo, the outdoor chairs & table were coated in bird poo which had to clean before using. The crockery & utensils all required washing before using. An internal chair had a missing leg and was propped using a wire basket. 4.5 stars you must be kidding an absolute disgrace. Our onsite rating was 2 and that was for the lake.
