Room too noisy because of the many trains passing under your windows. The heating was not working in the room. Comfort of the room and bathroom were perfect but no tissues in the room. Quality of breakfast can be better

Hotel well placed, efficient and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Good quality TV in rooms and coffees machine and fridge available. Bathroom well appointed and clean. Breakfast buffet is very nice indeed and unhurried which adds greatly to a leisure stay.
Comfortable and convenient for a city break

There is a lot to commend the Park Plaza Utrecht. We were originally due to stay 18 months ago but due to Covid we had to postpone twice. When we emailed the Park Plaza to do this there was no fuss or issues and our emails were answered promptly and courteously and with much understanding and flexibility which we were very grateful for. The reception staff are welcoming and keen to help and always greet you or wish you a good day when you leave. The location of the hotel is good, a few minutes' walk from the station (a bit trickier a the moment as there is extensive construction work between the hotel and station and a short walk to the city centre. The room was good, we took an upgrade to an executive room at check in and was worth it. The room was large with a view over the station and towards the city. We had no noise issues being so near the tracks. The large bed was comfortable, there was a safe, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities, a large bathroom with good shower and sink, a desk, armchair and air conditioning. There was very good (but unsecure) Wi-Fi, a fridge and a huge TV screen with Dutch and international channels, which you can connect your device to if you want to watch from a streaming service. The lifts are reliable, there is a car park with a secure barrier and the COVID protocols are good, they will only enter your room to clean if you request it. There were a couple of downsides to the stay. When we requested housekeeping to make up the room, they did not replace the tea, we asked for more from reception and they brought the wrong type. The check-out app did not work so despite filling out the details online we had to do it again at Reception. The Nespresso machine seemed to be very temperamental and there were no instructions with it. But overall, the Park Plaza was comfortable and very good for our short city break to Utrecht.

A wonderful place to stay. The staff are friendly helpful and cordial. When I come back in December I have no hesitation to stay again. I had to get up early for a flight back to Ireland even though breakfast was not ready I got a call from reception saying they had food to go for me

For our wedding in Utrecht we wanted to stay at ParkPlaza since it was near the station and had a room with a city view (of the station). Since trains was the theme of our wedding. We asked the hotel if it was okay to store our luggage the day before and to check in at around midnight. This was all fine. When booking the room we received a clear reservation of the type of room. Our wedding was very nice and afterwards we arrived at the hotel, which had stored our luggage. Then we arrived at the room... A very small room without a city view... And even though we were extremely tired, we didn't sleep well, because of the poor quality mattresses. My borther even had an open ceiling with pipes in his bathroom. After the breakfast we left for the station for our honeymoon. There we checked our mail. We had received a mail from the hotel in our spam folder on the check-in day. Apparently, our reservation (note the word 'reservation') was not guaranteed. So making a reservation does not mean you actually reserved anything? Plus, we checked the reservation e-mail, which does not mention this 'not guaranteed'. PLUS, our luggage was already there the previous day. PLUS PLUS we SAID we were coming at midnight. So I guess we were lucky to get a poor room, ParkPlaza could have just send us away at midnight on our wedding day!
