More about the hotel
Had a great week here!
Great location in Vail, easy to get to, very friendly and courteous staff, responsive to all our requests for extra towels and other necessities. Storage lockers for ski equipment, free shuttle to Vail (both Vail Village and Lionshead). Full kitchen was a plus for us, even if room was somewhat small, we still felt comfortable. Discovered game room in basement that is cleaned 3x daily, kids enjoyed playing games apres skiing! I would book here again.
a well run resort by friendly professionals, not one complaint in a week even with covid.
We had a studio on the 5th floor totally awsome in every way. The staff was very friendly and efficient.even with difficult things like scheduling the hot tub during covid. Super good hot tub and the best pool yet, very warm! Appliances like intsipot and blenders were available. The ski shuttle worked well. Walking distance to town and stores. The whole place is really like an old ritz carlton funky but nice.Coin laundry on premesis, Pizza place and beer on premesis. Fantastic Wi-fi, great fireplaces in the room. We just had a good time here!
Outstanding customer service, older mattress
This rental unit is a bit older, but the great workers and comfortable unit makes up for it all. We were greeted all of the time. Emilio, the driver, always had a smile on his face when we saw him. We had trouble with our wifi and TV, and they were there to fix it immediately. This place has older, darker colors, but everything worked, and there were no odd smells. We used the hot tub and pool every time we were done skiing, and it was well maintained. The mattress was pretty old and lumpy, so we had to turn it, but it was still not the best. There is a shuttle that takes you to the Lionshead and Gondola One stops, and it was faster than a ski in/ski out because we just had to pull our skis out of the locker and hop onto the shuttle. Within five minutes, we were at the village. We've already recommended it to friends who have not been happy with their rentals. Definitely a great place to stay.
Very quiet get-away
Our accomodations were nice and comfortable. The location of resort was easy access to Hwy 70 which we used to visit and tour Aspen and later Boulder. Grocery stores, gas stations and other essential businesses were close. Because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, there were no on-site activities The only complaint was lack of flexibility by staff to allow us (timeshare exchangers) to park for just one day in underground parking lot, since occupancy at this resort during Oct. 24-31, 2020 was less than 15% and there was a snow storm with 6 inches of snow. It was slippery driving up the ramp from the outside parking lot the day after the snow storm. The outside parking lot needs major pavement repairs. I loved the fact that there was a small restaurant serving sandwiches, snacks, pizza and beverages ! The Halloween decorations in the lobby were pretty and put humorous.
Quiet in Vail
Loved our Experience! Not much happening in Vail around October. Hiking and driving on trails was fun but chilly. The hotel was perfect for my family and since we basically hasd the place to ourselves we felt very safe in the Pandemic.
