More about the hotel
First time & will retrun
Having previously stayed in another hotel in Val we decided on a change. After much research this was our choice. Great location and we loved the modern style & decor of this open. An open casual reception/bar dining area. We had 2 large double rooms with balconies facing the slopes. Rooms were large & well equipped and laid out. Good bathroom. Only issue with the room is the excessive heat. Our radiators were never switched on and the room was very hot. There was a note Inthe room asking us NOT to have the windows open as it could damage the radiators are if that happened we would be fined €500!!!!! Very strange. To have a room so hot is very bad for your health and the heating bill must be huge! The breakfast suffer was very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the Spanish man who was on the bar. The boot room downstairs is ext with a locker per room. She there isn’t an direct access door from this room as you have to go back to ground floor to exit the main entrance. A short walk to the lifts and you’re good to head off for the day. & if the snow is good in the village you can klystron about ski to the front door.
Lune
Well located hotel in the centre of Val D’isere. We were there on the opening weekend so only breakfast served. Could have done with a bit of a hot choice and fresh (not stale) bread to toast! Rooms a good size and great balcony view of The Face. Service very good and boot room well heated
Ok rooms, perfect location for slopes but manager is rude
Stayed here with my family during a skiing trip. The location is perfect - positioned right next to the slopes and close to ESF and rental shops. However rooms are extremely small and basic. In addition, the manager of this hotel is extremely unaccommodating and as a result the service wasn't up to scratch.
Great location in Val D’Isere
Stayed here for a week in March for a ski trip. This hotel is very nicely appointed and in a very good location that’s nearly ski in. You have to walk a couple hundred yards to get to the lift but if there’s snow on the ground at the base you can almost ski home. The rooms aren’t huge but very nice inside. Make sure to request a room with a balcony. Breakfast every morning was pretty varied in terms of selection and the staff there was generally quite helpful. They can sell you lift tickets and book car service down to Geneva. Only thing I was surprised by was no hot tub. There was a steam room and sauna however.
Skiing holiday
We have used this hotel a number of times. They have done quiet a lot of the hotel up. It’s so well positioned right next to the slopes and the town centre. Really friendly staff and owner, great breakfast. Had a huge suite which was great. Recommended. Not silly money!
