More about the hotel
Great Hotel
Booked as on a motorbike trip, really nice friendly staff, the rooms are a good size & has everything you need. Had a good nights sleep, followed by a very nice breakfast, excellent scrambled eggs. Large car park which is gated. Would stay here again with out hesitation.
Value for money
We visited this B&B on our road trip in France. The check in was efficient and quick. The place also has a free parking lot making it very convenient. The “city” with most places to eat is just 15mins by walk. The staff was very friendly - next morning before leaving I wanted a hot cup of water, and they were happily obliged to give it to me for no charge. Rooms were clean
Nice hotel needed Air Con
Hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful. Two negatives: 1, 20 minute walk to town 2, our room was like a Sauna, needed air con. Free parking and easily accessible. Wouldn't stop here again due to the above points. But the hotel in itself was acceptable.
Two Night Stay
The hotel reception staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are good, clean and all facilities work. The hotel has parking and their is a bus stop outside if you want to get into Le Puy town centre. This is a good hotel for the budget and if you need a stop on your way South just to get your head down.
Not sure how I ended up booking this hotel
Clearly I was in a hurry or didn't read the reviews closely enough. That said, everything that has been said about the hotel is pretty accurate. It is budget - very budget. The tiny rooms have a bed, small desk, and a TV but we even had to search for the one power adaptor in the room in order to charge our phones. On the up side, it was spotlessly clean, the staff were without exception friendly and knowledgeable, and it was quiet. The major downside was the size of the room and the location. It's easily a 20+ minute walk to the town centre and we passed many more hotels much closer that were of a similar price. We only stayed one night so it wasn't really a problem, but I wouldn't have wanted to be there for any longer.
