Did not receive the room upgrade which was ok of course BUT I went into this booking thinking there was an operational hot tub working as nothing was unchecked upon the booking process, but when here at check in I found out not operational! To pay 190 after tax and not have a breakfast...well a hot tub was a big reason for me to book. It was quite easy though to find hotel and to find lobby and to park! But putting that aside...our shuttle guy was quite friendly and got us to Rogers in a nice timely manner! Was easy to book with him!, as he approached me upon check in. Room clean and tv is a nice size and internet works good. Overall a thanks but a downer on the hot tub FAIL! Best to uncheck on the hot tub aspect if down!

Disappointment.

Stayed for two nights, from Feb 12th - 14th. Mist of the t.v. channels, would break up, with the sound cutting out, more noticeably at night. I decided to check out in person, only to be told there were no more incidental charges towards my bill. Never once, was I asked how my stay was. That's all it would take for me, to refrain from writing this review, I hope many others will see. It doesn't take a lot to smooth things out, and nothing was attempted. I will not be staying at this property again. Thank you, Greg B.

I made the awful mistake of booking this hotel for a recent stay. This is my second stay this year. I stayed here back in July and now again in November and nothing has changed, still just as terrible. First, getting to the hotel right now is a nightmare since they are doing construction right next to it. If you have a car good luck trying to park it during the day. I had to park blocks away since the road was closed then walk down the back alley to get into the hotel. I know this isn't the hotel's fault but a heads up would have been nice. Second, the staff is not friendly at all at the front desk. They are also so slow, why does it take like 20mins to check-in. This happened last time and thought things would be better. The hotel itself is gross. The hallways are so dirty and dated, it's cheap for a reason, so beware. The room looks like it's seen better days, the walls have dents, the beds make so much noise, the A/C- Heater is so loud you can't have it on when you sleep. Our room was facing the bridge so its so loud all night and then during the day with construction. Glad this was only for two nights. I will never make the mistake of staying here again. I would not recommend this hotel. I meant to book the GEC Suites like a block or two down, that hotel I would recommend for the same price.

Noisy and not clean

Checking in was quick. Front desk guy was polite. You have to deposit 200$ as insurance (most hotels do that). The room was clean but the A/C was very noisy. Although my room was in the 8th floor, i could still hear all the noises outside...the bathroom was not that clean! i could still see stiff on the toilet seat and the bathtub which was degusting! the shower head barely jet out any water...they offer free coffee in the room but the mugs were not cleaned so i skipped coffee! free water and newspaper was nice...the location is good...lots of restaurants and coffee shops within a walking distance and i walked to a near-by mall (1KM away/10-15 minutes walk). The construction next to it was really bad cause cars couldn't get in sometimes as the road was blocked! they offered free breakfast which i haven't tried! they also offer parking for a fee! I got 3 cold sores after the first night...probably from the bed sheets or towels which might indicate that they don't clean them! i won't be staying at this hotel again cause i want to be able to sleep at night and i don't want to get cold sores!

Great stay

Easy, quick, and effortless check in. Clean room, close to granville island ( you can walk over or take a boat taxi). Only pitfall of our stay was the neighbouring guests. Way too loud and we could hear everthing. The parking is at the back and we had to drive around construction but easy to do.
