We ate Titanium Elite members and usually use our upgrades for the hotel. I tried calling the hotel before we arrived and asked what room number we had. They said they couldn't give that info. I saw in my mobile app that it was not a room type that I wanted. We checked in and then sure enough did not like the room. I went back downstairs and then they moved us. What a a waste of time . They had to then clean two rooms. Overall this hotel has some advantages HOWEVER the regular rooms are very small. Without the upgrade I would not stay at this hotel. If they let me know the room number or at least if the suite upgrade was unavailable say 48 hours before instead of 12 hours before I would have cancelled the room and stayed at the Fairmont. Excellent Breakfast — Best Bonvoy Pick if Plat and Above
Reviewed 19 december, 2021
Stayed at the Westin Bayshore for two nights as a Bonvoy Plat in Dec 2021 while visiting the city. The location of the Westin is convenient to Stanley Park and the Robson/Denman food corridor but less so to the SkyTrain and the downtown core. The views from my room on the 8th floor of the main building (not the tower) offered a partial sea view. The breakfast was outstanding and was the best I’ve had in any Vancouver Marriott property. I would return, especially if breakfast is included in the rate. If traveling by public transit, the Westin is also a good option for the Lynn Valley and Horseshoe Bay areas, given that the 25x buses pass by.
Great Hotel by Coal Harbour

I stayed over at the hotel during the conference. Meeting space was very open and spacious. I had a marina view room. Room was updated and clean. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Parking is not connected to the hotel so a bit of a trek across the street.

My wife and I came here for a quiet , romantic and getaway and although the pool /hot tub were great our room was right above the domes /restaurant (bar) and it was super loud until 1am with people partying and loud music My wife and myself are older and not into partying late at night and wanted to call it a night at 1030pm but we're unable to due to the noise / stomping on the floor above us and loud music . I don't advise staying here if you are an early morning riser or early to bed kind of person But other than that , the bed is comfortable and the staff super nice and friendly.
