Nice Place for One Night
A great breakfast, a convenient tram ride into the center of Nancy, helpful front desk staff, and easy, free parking. But caution getting the least expensive room that offers almost no more room than the queen size bed.
Magnificent Breakfast!
Chose the hotel for it’s location en route from London to Milan. Was warmly greeted and given a comfortable if slightly small room. Slept very well on a firm mattress and the shower was perfect. Breakfast though was something else. All the usuals of a great continual breakfast plus walnuts and hazelnuts in their shells, champagne and even a delicious pork pie. What a real treat finding this hotel!
A great dinner bed and breakfast stop near main road
Overall this was a briliant stay. The accomodation is comfortable and clean, and the staff very pleasant, the price very reasonable and the food a delight. There was some confusion amongst staff over which meu to give us for dinner on our dinner bed and breakfast deal. And the menu (handwritten and read by staff) had no vegetarian main course on it. We were offered only the crushed potatioes off one meat meal and the tomatoes and beans off another, as a vegetarian option. When we compained that this didn't feel like a main meal, another member of staff came and when we still were not happy they went to cosult the chef. Result! Same veg but with two poached eggs and a delicious sauce on top. The veggie starter also excellent, and the puddings splendid. And as you can see, the staff did their best. So all in all well recommended.
Perfect
I never experienced such customer focus and friendly hotel. We arrived very late after 23 o'clock and they still offered some nice finger food. The rooms are cosy and clean and the facilities are made with love.
Standard ok hotel
As I was working at the University this hotel is 2 minutes away from the campus. It is small and standard but ok for a two/three star rating. In France these ratings you need to have a lower expectancy of the ratings as the rest of Europe. Breakfast is nice with Good coffee and fresh orange juice and there is a small terrace where You can sit outside. Badroom is the smallest I have ever seen But personnel is nice. Lots of people come here passing through to the South of France. Free parking.
