Group trip with 4/6 families
Opinión escrita el 28 de enero de 2019
Best for group trip with 4 to 6 families. The rooms are good and very nice to spend some time with family and children, relaxing and enjoying the location. The food is nice and can be customised as per our needs. There are activities both outdoor and indoor to spend some time with your friends and family.

Good Stay - Nice Location - Not a Resort with amenities
Opinión escrita el 1 de enero de 2019
Slightly difficult to find as there is no sign-post on the main road. This is a normal hotel - not a resort - do not come here expecting resort like facilities. Tips: - There are a few rooms in the main building - they are not very interesting. In addition there are 2 more cottages a few meters on the side of a slope. Those are where you should stay as they are more spacious, better ventilated, provide some seclusion and have good views of the surrounding forest from the balcony. Call ahead to block the cottage. - You are allowed to use the facilities of the nearby Meenmutty Heights Resort including their swimming pool. Do visit the resort if you have the time as they have good views of the Meenmutty Waterfalls. - Breakfast and Lunch/Dinner is good - local Kerala style food. - The owners are helpful and friendly.

Budget Wayanadan Heritage resort worth visiting
Opinión escrita el 30 de novembre de 2018
Budget Wayanadan Heritage resort worth visiting ----------------------------------------------- Chandragiri heritage bungalow was suggested by one of my friends when I enquired for a budget stay in Wayanad with friends and man, he was right! This bungalow was once a traditional "Tharavad"(Family home) and now renovated as a heritage resort. Highlights and Pros - Serene and close to nature with nature-coffee plantations all around. - Less expensive compared to other resorts around - Friendly and helpful staff - Very close to Meenmutty waterfalls and Edakkal caves - Ample parking area - Great keralan food served with choice of both veg and non-veg - Badminton court - They also have two new cottages with modern amenities just above the bungalow nestled amid the coffee plantations - Have two separate dining areas which can provide adequate privacy for the guests - Camp fire with Barbeque also arranged on demand basis - Very close to Kerala-Tamil Nadu border and Ooty is just 90Km away Cons: - No swimming pool. However, since it’s the same management as the Meenmutty Heights resort which is just a walking distance away, one can make use of the swimming pool and other facilities at that resort if required. - Difficult to locate from the main road. But the helpful staff can guide you or even wait of you on the road so that you do not miss the turn to the resort. This place is definitely a value of money for both families and bachelors alike.

A Quaint leisure bungalow
Opinión escrita el 18 de octubre de 2017
It is a leisure bungalow located in mountains of Wayanad. Initially it was quite a task to locate it from the Highway. The room is well equipped and clean. There is ample parking space. Also there is enough outdoor area when small ball games can be played. The bathrooms are clean. Service and staff is acceptable. This bungalow is maintained by Meenmutty resorts situated close by, hence you can use the facilities of the resort too. Food is not that great, but no other option as the nearest town is quite far. Needs improvement with respect to food.
