Clean, convenient and comfortable
Stayed for 1 night due to an early flight. Convenient location for the airport - 10-15 mins walk, and the short section without a proper pavement was not really an issue. Note that the B&B only provides a shuttle one way from the airport, and not back again. Very good value, and had everything we needed. Only slight downsides were the creaky bed and limited breakfast (toast and croissant) - but we can’t really complain when other nearby hotels were more than twice the price without breakfast!
Short and very sweet
As an overnight stay it was great. Easy access to the airport and a 20 minute bus ride to Venice make this a good way to tay waiting for the flight home the next day. I would describe this as an oasis in the su urban desert because the surrounding area is not great but Bella Onda has nice rooms that are well decorated and featuring most things you need. I enjoyed very personable service with a nice continental breakfast. ELL worth a visit when next in Venice.
A real find near the airport
We have stayed here a few times and are really impressed with the cleanliness and the value of this place. It is a short distance from the airport. Rooms are spotless and the breakfast first class. Camilla is brilliant. Great place.
Nice room, however was disappointed after stay due to poor communicaction
The room was nice, modern and clean. It's in close proximity to the airport and is no hassle to get there. However, I booked here because I had to leave relatively early (8:30am) the next morning and wanted an easy option for breakfast and accomodation that was close to the airport. After requesting twice that I wanted to reserve the breakfast(apparently this is necessary) they emailed me the evening before my stay saying that breakfast wasn't available to me with absolutely no explanation why. Considering it's a bed & breakfast and I had requested at least a week in advance (twice) that I wanted to reserve a place at breakfast, I was very disappointed and knowing breakfast woudn't be available I wouldn't have booked here. With no offer of any compensation, I wouldn't recommend this place to friends and family. I also found communication was a little difficult e.g. after confirmation from them that self checkin was available i had to chase up the details when it got close to my check in date instead of them readily providing them despite telling me they would.
Good Place Close to Venice Airport
Guest House Bella Onda was a convenient place to stay the night before our flight back to the States. Our rooms were very clean, new, and with good air conditioning. Car parking was available. My only complaint would be the pillows which were very flat and provided little head support. Since we had a rent a car to return the next day we did not use the one way shuttle from the airport and we didn't have to walk from the Guest House to the airport. I think that it would be difficult walking along the road with luggage to the airport. We also did not try the breakfast (which was not included in our nightly rate). There is a small grocery store and a very good pizza restaurant across the road. All in all, Guest House Bella Onda was a good place to stay if you just need accomodation for one night either leaving Venice or arriving.
